2024 Volkswagen Atlas - 6-speaker Base Sound System Review

DM, how easy (or difficult) would it be to upgrade this system? Would an amplifier and new speakers do the trick? Would the system allow an amplifier install? Side note: you should do a long form video on the upgradability of modern car audio systems. Since It’s not like the old days when you could just replace the head unit and speakers.

Atlas audio is the worst out of any vehicle. Turn it up all the way and you still won’t be able to hear it over the AC.

Hey DM sound! Nice video, also something about the town and country, the speaker brand is Sirius or something like that, and its a 6 speaker sound system we tested all of these songs in our town and country (not lieing) and I'd give it at least an a tier AND I heard some great surround sound too! Nice video too! God bless

I did some research for you.. lol.. the Town and country has 3 sound systems available depending on trim and options. 4 speaker, 6, and 10. The only one that seems goodish is the 10 because it has a dedicated amp. There would be NO way that this would be an A-Tier. It would probably rank C or D. The lack of a sub means no low bass at all and no real power at high volume with no amp. There also is no surround sound on the 6 speaker model. I highly recommend checking out a vehicle with an A-Tier from Charlie and seeing what the difference is. Charlie only gets review vehicles from manufacturers themselves (usually) so there’s really not a chance of him testing out this specific system that a small amount of people are interested in. Most people would be interested in the Chrysler Pacifica, the Town and Country’s replacement.

Atlas volume does not get louder after halfway still can talk at the loudest it will go . I bought one and im very irratated about it trying to find someway to bypass volume limiter

It's just a weak system, unfortunately. Need an amp and different speakers. Or a new car.

Isn't it a 7 speaker system? It looks like it has a center speaker on top of the dashboard.

Probably not used for the actual system - often times in modern cars there's two speakers that make up that center channel. One being for directions and navigation noise, and the other being for the actual audio system. The one for the actual audio system is blank in this vehicle.
