The foot-trunk-open sensor should be under the left ultrasound parking sensor, your foot was a bit too much to the right. Disclaimer: I have a different model but if I do it like in this video of course it wouldn't work.

Great review. Not having wireless on this class of car is odd. I really like the car. Nothing like the 144E I had back in the day. That was a great little car also. It was hard to part with.

Nice review. Very thorough. Being 60 - not a fan of chrome. Do wish exhaust tips visible. Do like the dark theme. Stuck between this and a Genesis G70. Wait - no android auto or vented seats. What gives Volvo. Guess it’s the G70.

Rented one a couple times and it's ok but I personally didn't like it. Took me like 5 minutes how to figure out the sunroof and never figured out how to maneuver through the HUD on the dash. Also I always had to manually link the Bluetooth on my phone every time I start the car instead of it just happening automatically like most other vehicles. Aside from that it's rides smooth and the other features were favorable. Sadly the issues I mentioned were enough for me to pass on this ride.

Sadly, Volvo will stop making this sedan in the next year. I do wish the tech was a bit more updated.
