8:08: If you feel like there is no place to put your phone, there is. The central console storage is designed to fit your phone perfectly. If you open the center console storage completely your phone will sit perfectly flush almost like a lid to the center console storage (assuming you don’t have a water bottle in there, which fits in the door).

2:45 “if you are an average person.” In fact, according to the AAA Foundation 2022 Driving Survey, the average trip is 12.3 miles, 2.44 times a day. In my 2023 S60 I average 39 miles per driving day. With 22,000 miles on the odometer I’ve burned 199 gal of 93 octane.

8:30 There is not lack of storage spaces as I se it. Just use som ingenuity. Put you bottles (I have a 1 liter bottle) in the door stowaway and phone flat over/ in the cupholder in the middle the sliding thingy keeps it in place. Unless you use a cup when driving (which I dont) this is the best configuration IMO, as the usb is in the armrest and you can store all you nipnaps int the cupholder or armrest too. Plus the glows compartment is normal size.

I’ve been using my 2024 as my daily driver since I bought it in April and it’s the best car for daily driving I have ever experienced. It’s so smooth, quiet, quick, comfortable, fuel efficient, and looks great. It’s also just the right size for my needs. I had a loaded 2021 Grand Cherokee before the Volvo and the Volvo is every bit as comfortable. It’s really cool to see more premium and luxury brands introducing non-leather interiors. I kinda wish I’d done the wool instead of the blonde leather.

man i would really love to buy the s60 as my next car. its electric range fits my daily needs perfectly and i love its asthetics & how they integrated google maps into the tac. too bad there is only 1 dealership in my city and the reviews for its service department... are not very good at all and i'm concerned if local independent garages are up-to-date on servicing phev volvos. love the video tho and thanks for always being so detailed oriented on your pov drives & reviews, it really helps me get a sense of what im getting with each car without having to step foot into the jungle that is a car dealership ♥

Hey friend, just coming across this video and saw this. Look into overseas delivery, its this volvo 'package' vacation thing that flyes you out to Sweden, covers the flight and hotel stay, you get a little tour around Sweden/Volvo HQ and get to drive your volvo around sweden and then they ship it to America for free, you also pay the Swedish price which usually ends up as a 5-6% discount from MSRP USA

Volvo with the T8 engine is really common in Norway. They are truly the best of both worlds. Only thing is that you cant buy any petrol/diesel/hybrid car from 2025 and onwords due to the norwegian government trying to save the world with their «climate goals». It is also common with a price of 8-10$ pr gallon for petrol and diesel. The price might even rise to 20$ in the near future so people in Norway are in many ways forced to buy electric cars.

@HowToSpec what's wrong with a 15 minute city?
@alexbridgelal37476 ай бұрын
@HowToSpec All of that can be fixed through legal gun ownership. Vienna is a example of this.

@@alexbridgelal3747 You think buying a gun will solve your country's socioeconomic issues? It must be nice being so simple minded that you can just solve every single difficult problem imaginable by just ignoring it, and just telling people to buy a gun. Here's a thought? Why don't you have a nice cup of coffee and a donut and let the adults do the thinking for you. You can sit there stroking a shotgun muttering to yourself how the govt is trying to take away your guns, while the people with brain cells figure out how to make the world inhabitable for our children. I swear these people just crawl out every single video about anything. Can't even watch car videos in peace without these roaches crawling out from their rocks to share their ignorance with the world.

This is a lovely car. It is true that the storage is limited, but really, I don't feel it much. I am impressed with the EV autonomy, the possibility of relying on gas for longer trips, the comfort of the ride and the incredible drive train. And to be honest, it looks stunning.

To me it is the short suspension travel that puts me off. When the car hits a pothole, the car is so easy to get out of alignment. I’m not sure if it is the suspension design or the material they use. But once it is out of the alignment, the dealer at my place just can’t always get it right😢. So I ended up driving with a slightly crooked steering most of the time.

For a few reasons I've come to really like cloth seats. Big one is the real leather jacket I got from a friend is fucking squeaky when rubbing against leather (fake or not) seats. But beyond that they seem lot cozier

Do you find that there’s more resistance when accelerating in B mode though? I just got a 24 and notice it accelerates easier in D mode vs B, (pure mode) if that makes sense- feels like it’s using more energy. Could be the trade off to get more aggressive regen braking I guess.

Gold chain!!! Hysterical! 🤣🤣 that’s the bmw/mercedes demographic!
@makimoko29 күн бұрын
Well in « one pedal », part of the pedal travel is for acceleration, and part is for modulating the regenerative braking. When in D, the whole pedal travel is solely for acceleration (lifting off will be coasting).
