One thing that drives me crazy on newer cars (not just Hyundai, a lot of companies do it) is adding an LED package but leaving some lights as traditional incandescent bulbs.

Would be nice if the rear indicators were LED, but I suppose it’s all down to cost !
@Ricky-mo6mv7 ай бұрын
I agree. I have the 2023 Limited Tucson and like 90% of the lights are LED. It’s like just do it all and be done with it!. And the ones they leave out are just simple little lights. Many people just change them themselves, but I just haven’t gotten there yet. Haha. Yup, all manufacturers are doing this. So annoying.

who cares? I bought the new Hyundai and I truly haven’t noticed it. And even if I do, I wont care. Why should I? It does the work you need and this is something so small that only if you look at it, then you will notice it and it will bother you. Don’t let small things and details like this to become your problem. Its pointless.
@Ricky-mo6mv6 ай бұрын
@@toddsmithist Yeah, I don’t mind the few exterior lights that aren’t LED. The one that sometimes disappoints me is the interior cargo light as it comes off yellowish and doesn’t brighten up the area all that much. Not a big deal though for any of them, given that I have had the vehicle for a year and haven’t switched any of those bulbs to LED.

Frustrates the hell out of me tbh. Can see no reason why they couldn’t be fitted in the rear light cluster area. On one of the owners groups, a guy in the States modded his so they were up there but the issue was whether it invalidated his warranty.

nice comparison, only you did it with 2 different versions. For example, the older version you showed does not have a 360° camera(mine has it), it was present in the highest version. Same for blind spot cameras. The doors now seem less well finished. The higher version has 2 memory seat buttons in the door, and in the old version nicely integrated, the new one has the buttons glued on. The steering wheel of the new version is soulless, the older version had 4 nice spokes. The top spec version of the previous model also had digital temperature control at the back. The previous one also had the dashed stripe in the seat and also has adaptive cruise control, mine has it. Of course they have improved things like the head up display that you did not mention. The larger rear wiper. Instead of 2 x 10.5 inch displays, there are now 2 x 12 inch displays together. The wireless android auto is a great upgrade but should be tested, mine is bad with a dongle, perfect with wire... I have been driving the previous model for a month now and I certainly do not think it is any less good. The interior was unique, now it looks too much like a Kona. But thanks for bringing them next to each other, was great to see.

Great video, thank you very much. I've been waiting so long for more details on the facelift. I have few questions, if you are able to answer them: 1. Is it true that on the facelift the rear doors have soft-touch material instead of just plastic like on the old model? 2. Is the size of the arm-rest storage the same? Would it be possible to re-use my storage tray for the facelift? 3. For HEV/PHEV I have saw in an unpublished tech. specs that there is now a PTC heater that helps warming the cabin without using the ICE? Can you confirm that and add more details? 4. I saw on a video from Romania that there was something new below the foam in the trunk, there is a hole and something looking like a fan. I am not sure if it's only for hybrids or for the top-line models, but could you check for that also? 5. Again, for PHEV - in a Czech user manual there is a mention about a Li-po 12V battery (explicitly for PHEV). I know that the old model uses a standard 12V car battery. Could you check if there are differences in that regard? Sorry for so many questions and thank you in advance in case you are able and have time to address some of them.

I have some serious problems with this video. The spokesman is talking exceptionally fast, like this was running in fast forward. Difficult to understand, especially with the road noise, even with closed caption on. If that weren't enough, I could not tell which model year car you were talking about at any given time. Since I'm looking at both of these cars right now at dealerships trying to decide which one I would like, this is really frustrating. Sorry but this didn't help me one bit!

Nice car but it's the back they should do away with looks terrible against most other models.

Piano black on the door trims.....now which genius came up with this idea. This is like eating a soup and hoping that the spoon will stay dry. These piano trims get scratched by just looking at them, imagine their condition after 6 months of daily use. Terrible idea and i hope thats optional

Sorry to hear you don’t like it .. it’s standard with no option to change

BS. I own a Tucson, 2 years and 45kkm now. Not a scratch on the piano black parts anywhere.

Why the faded Hyuandai logo at the back... the previous one looking better

On newer model it’s it’s as part of the window but it is underneath the window so the tinted glass makes it look darker

Lovely SUV exterior wise, seems to be brilliantly reliable and an excellent bhp, wouod have a great trade in value I'd say, but this is not a premium looking interior car, fact in comparison v Renault Austral or even the new Peugeot E3008 hybrid. This car is far too plasticky for my likening anyway with its shitty, looking, boring sterling wheel like a boring digestive biscuit. I think the tucson has a lot right in many respects, but no heads up display at all, no option of a sunroof rear indicators are a safety hazard in the back. I will not be changing my car until March 2026, I'm open to hyundai, but not so far on this. The Nline looks real nice, again way too dark interior, remember, it's you thst will be spending most of your time inside a car, not outside, so the interior must be a priority. Hyundai Tucson badly need a stylist.
