Livvy Dunne is popular for her looks, but she is nowhere near the calibre of gymnasts to compete in the Olympics.

She probably drew inspiration from Ohashi as well. She just doesn't hunger for that elite level preferring to be part of a cheer-squad session in college with dumbed down discipline

Her past injuries have nothing to do with why she wasn't chosen for the national team. Name an elite gymnast without past or current injuries! She wasn't good enough, plain and simple. She doesn't rank high enough.

@kalenasnoopy Quite a few people do not understand the difference between collegiate and elite gymnastics, and many of them truly had this question. Livvy took a different path years ago, which is what we tried to make clear in the video. Thank you for your comment, though! You clearly have a lot of “gym” knowledge. 😊

Philippines doesn't have nearly the amount of talent the USA has. Aleah was competing for the USA but could not crack into the top hence the reason she used her Filipino citizenship to compete.

Because of DEI. Livvy done is better than biles and where biles abandoned her team and country livvy has real strength. Biles is a coward

Dunne is pretty good but not great, Simone Biles is a plant & CREATION of the Gymnastics industry, she's good but not that great either. Rules were changed to favor her... cause this & other corrupt things is why i stopped watching corrupt sports altogether... enjoy!

It sounds like you're trying to cope. Simone can't be that decorated especially in the Olympics as just a creation. She wins despite an industry against her. If anything the industry would plant and push Olivia because of her color (Caitlin Clark effect) and especially looks, but she is not at Simones talent level. What rules were changed for Simone by the way😏? Also let me clarify Caitlin is actually good but there have been better players her popularity at this level because of what I said. Hence Olivia would be a plant that makes sense.

@@rashb3994 Wrong.!! Simone’s “legacy” started when she did a performance that deviated from the natural graceful routine that gymnasts normally display. Her performance had mistakes but she was giving the win anyway. I been watching gymnastics for 40 years don’t try to correct me or my vision. Simone is a good gymnast but not what the industry is trying to make her out to be. And don’t compare her to Clarke. Basketball does not DEPEND on judges, gymnastics is subjective. As always a typical black person like you would defend her just cause of Simon’s skin color. Learn something before you write.

@@clightning9703 No a typical black person would defend her because we know how typical WP are every time we emerge in a sport we haven't before. You whine about tradition when the truth is we change the game taking it past tradition, and you're fearful that tradition becomes irrelevant. Which it does sometimes which is necessary for the sport to go to new heights. And yes I will compare Clarke to Simone. Because if you say Simone is just solid, and possibly overhyped, manufactured and defended because of race, the same applies to Clarke. In basketball they hype her the same way they do Lebron. They try to make them both the center of the basketball world.

@@clightning9703 We are the foundation for pretty much all genres of American music from Country to Rock to Rap to EDM. What it evolved into over the decades you can blame what the execs choose to release because that's the aspect they control.
