I have this bike and I love it, puts a smile on my face every time I ride it, great power tuned for the streets It does feel very restricted in lower gears but in EU we get 2 lambda sensors and it's not as easy to change exhaust and tune.

@kurc24k76 they are making it harder and harder to tune them that is for sure!

The airbox on those bikes has like a restrictive plastic funnel thing that when removed, is good for 2-3 WHP.

Nice bike, I really like the dash, but not the wheels.

its absolutely disgusting yamaha is bringing a "supersport" bike with this engine. like how much power and torque would this 3 cylinder make? not more than 115hp stock. and they call it a pure bred sportsbike... ahhhh, times that we are living man. incredible..
@invalidvalidation37313 ай бұрын
I know, right! Years ago this power was only for track prepped super bikes. Nowadays we can get it for the street for $12,000?!? And we call that middle weight?!! It’s crazy how the times have changed. I love the CP3 and find it to be the perfect balance for the road. Enough torque to beat liter bike off the rip but not so much power that it’s unusable. It really as the sweet spot for the road. It really is disgusting how good this is. A true street sport bike.

@@invalidvalidation3731 what are you talking about bro? even the aprilia 660 makes 90hp from factory. with standard ecu and oem exhaust. not the "pinnacle" yamahas line up making 120. and yeah, torque etc etc. who cares? you are in a racetrack and you will be riding with 4th gear and 4k rpm? no. so as a street bike is ok i guess, but there is insane that they cancelled the real sport bikes for this POS.
@lenz9303 ай бұрын
the power is superb its making basically same as new zx6r 636 (which is listed as 127bhp bike in 2024) wheel horsepower figures out of the box with this not really great exhaust this engine is absolutely supersport worthy, and more powerful than every 600s, even if you don't look at its torque

@@TheRealBhuado they didn’t cancel the real sport bikes. They’re track-only machines. They still produce the R6 in a track-only configuration. The R1 is still in production in the states, and they’re continuing to make a track only config for Europe as well. The R9 will certainly be a blast on the track, but now we just have more options. I think it’ll be mega fun on the streets. I’m certainly not going to get one, but I can appreciate what Yamaha is doing by catering to its broader audience and focusing on street fun while continuing to produce the track toys.
