my break-in cycle is ride the bike for 30-45 min varying rpm no redline change oil an filter. check filter for material. There's always some first change. ride hard limiter once or twice through gears 1 hour change oil/fliter again check filter should be fairly clean. if not, change again in another hour. should be good to rip 100%

I rode the kx 22 450 apparently same as the 23. Throttle feels obnoxious and weird though feels great standing up ergos for people like 6,1 240lb I rode a crf 22 450 and yz450 23 same day as well I like the crf for its turning and light just ergos need more like I’d need bar riders and taller bars to jump The maps were good to I loved the new yz in my opinion ! I came from a 21 yz 450 and thing was crazy snappy and felt cramped as I was seat bouncing the 80 foot jumps at the track But the new 23 felt fun as and light and good in the ergos to !! I think for us taller peeps will need taller bars and bar risers

You're a good rider. Everything in this video is accurate. From break-in to hold onto that damn bike when you get arm pump because it's true! Hahah. I love my 2022 YZ 450F ...but in response to the top speed... run 14/48 sprockets and that'll change your mind about it real quick ol' son! Hahaha you won't even use all of that bike with that gearing! You giving bad advice. Never do heat cycles! You will ruin the cylinder & the rings will never get seated properly. What you said & what you did are very different. What you did was actually much better for break in. You want the higher cylinder pressure to expand the rings in to the cylinder wall to allow the cross hatch to properly seat the rings. Just ride it like normal after a quick warm up & avoid bouncing off the rev limiter for the first 30-60 minutes. Done, go race.
