We flew to South Carolina to ride the all-new Yamaha YZ450FX in some real-life GNCC conditions. This bike enters a new generation for the 2024 model year and is based heavily off the new-gen YZ450F.

Yes, this bike is designed for cross-country racing but holds it's own for the occasional motocross track day.

Too bad the WR won’t get the tuner

@@evr-mr3cp You can add the Competition ECU for $200.00 and then you can tune the WR the same way as the FX. I just order a 24 WR and the ECU last week.

@@billsharko3007 I have been looking at both bikes. WR/FX and wonder what your thoughts are between them? I would be putting the ECU, and respring either as I am very heavy ridder. Trail, desert and a few desert races a year.. Your thoughts?

The 450f gets way too hot and will overheat while doing single track slower bike trails. Just get a YZ250 two-stroke

Only if your riding hard enduro, then get the fan. I have an 18’ with 275 hours on it. I ride it on single track for hours. Just got the 24’.
