2025.01.29 offshore ice shelf wobble waves at blue harbor, great lakes surfing

air temp 55°F water around 35°F. shelf has greatly receded with the recent warm weather and was safe enough to get out in the water with from my assessment. a lot of the shelf is hidden by sand that has blown over it and water level seems like it dropped even more. was roughly 1ft of water when i jumped in. lot of offshore wind holding back while riding and staring right into the sun. rides felt way better than they look on camera hah. didnt notice how much rebound/wobble was in the waves until i saw the footage. great to get out end of january without ice chunks floating around!
