or a camo matte design option like the seats in the trd pro. the gloss is definitely not it, but it's an easy fix. the option of gloss or matte would be nice though.

I prefer the Trailhunter but wish it had a none hybrid with a optional 6 spd Manuel or 8spd auto and 3rd row seat to take the family camping also a rear bumper tire swing and optional roof top tent with the TRD pro hood

Trail hunter with no hybrid system, the manual shift transfer case & 4.0 6 cylinder, definitely like the looks of trail hunter, but praising God I recently got a 24 TRD off-road premium , would not want the 4 cylinder motor or the price increases. The 25s coming out reassure my decision of getting a 24. But, I do like the looks of them better

that engine is solid, but you are basing your decision on something that you haven't driven, nor has it been road tested by the consumer in the 4runner model. Lexus has been using this engine for years and it is reliable. It's been so reliable that Toyota is using it in their mid-size truck/suv vehicles across the board. Food for thought.

While I love the TRD pro I would take the Trailhunter just for something different - it’s a unique trim level with a lot of aftermarket parts and a factory warranty

TRD PRO, no hybrid for me. No 50/50 tech, one technology or the other, mixing technology under one hood forces compromises do to space, with compromise comes possible compromise of technology. 🙏

@@GaryGraf I am assuming hybrid is an option. I personally like the current configuration for the Sport model, I have a '23 Sport. For now will keep the 6 cyl, not trading for 4 cyl turbo, maybe in 4 to 5 years when the kinks are worked out, maybe.

I don’t think I would buy the trail hunter or the Trd pro until I see about five or six years down the road the reliability independent is on top of the fact that I always want to get one maxed out fully loaded one model I really like or actually two models I like are the platinum and limited….
