So glad they made the Integra a liftback, not a sedan. The 2-door version would be cooler, but totally impractical. The Type S seems to have everything, but the interior quality should be better for a premium car...

My hot take is liftbacks > sedans. When it comes to the interior quality, it's not bad - it's just very close to the Civic.

That color combination is beautiful! And the fact that there's no big wing helps. But to be honest, I'd go with the Type R and put the suspension module from the Type S in it

The Honda is built in Japan (the Acura is not). That is supposed to be an advantage.

@@carlestler IMO considering the automation and that everything is assembled by robots, as long as the brand sticks to their QA it doesn't matter where it's made

You can get a '24 for less than MSRP right now. I got a '24 PWP 3 months ago with $8,000+ in options (copper wheels and the OEM black wheels with (8) total Michelin PS4S tires ($355 each), carbon fiber spoiler and mirror caps, illuminated badges and doorsills, blacked out badges, alcantara steering wheel, titanium shifter) for MSRP. Go get one.

Tried to get an FL5 but they are impossible to get for MSRP anywhere in my region, so they forced my hand into the DE5. Tbh I'm actually glad I wasn't able to get an FL5 because the DE5 is simply a better looking car, has more features I want, and less modifications required for my taste. If you can actually get an FL5 for MSRP then the savings for basically the same driving dynamics makes the decision way easier.

honestly if if it werent for the seats id go with de5 i had a de4 but was disappointed there were no sportier seat option in the fl5. and for me the padding on the fl5 is just plain better for longer drives

U gotta drive one before u judge. Speed is relative. Weight is important. 0-60 doesn’t tell even a third of the story of this car.

@joeblacc8573 Yes I'm sure it's a very nice handling car for what it is. But at the end of the day it's almost 60k car here in the states. I don't see any sense it when a new M340 x drive handles nicer overall and is just nicer and costs in the 60k's. The IS500 is also a great alternative and actually has that much more desirable V8. It's not a manual, but who cares if it's more bang for the buck. The new Golf R is a bit cheaper and is a great performer. I would not drop 60k on an Acura. The S4 is too sterile with handling so it doesn't justify the extra dough but the BMW does. That's my rationale at least.

@ 52k OTD here in GA. 🇺🇸 The manual was a selling point. I didn’t want a stale ass M340. It’s stupid fast but I also see a gazillion of em lol. IS500 is dope af but I didn’t want a V8 or the same body style as every other 24yr old girls Lexus. Idk cars are subjective and everyone is gonna like what they like. This is a helluva vehicle tho u owe it to urself to drive one. Or not 🤷🏾‍♂️

@joeblacc8573 52k is not bad. That's less than most areas around here in LA county. And yea there are many M340's around you don't have to tell me hahaha I live in LA. They're everywhere but I think they're more car for the money if you happen to shell out almost 60k OTD for the Acura. Why didn't you want the V8?

If only it were RWD. No matter what anyone says. Its just not the same. This is coming from an owner of a 500+HP FWD car that I built when I was younger and more foolish. Sports cars are RWD. End of story.

I'm lucky to have access to both. Off the line you're 100% correct. Once you're going though, this car is so incredibly stable and fast in and out of any corner. It's just different. I have a lot of fun with this one.
