Big agree. It’s always a shame to see how much the negative comments get to him. (understandably so) but yeah trying to appease the minority who will always be complaining no matter what isn’t the way to go when he has all the support elsewhere. Such an amazing person that truly cares for what he does.

Cory, I have been keeping fish since I received my first aquarium for Christmas in 1971. Back then, information was gathered at the local fish store. When I discovered your videos on KZbin, my knowledge grew SO much!!!! I love that you teach us and I encourage many new fish keepers to check out your channel and website. Definitely looking forward to the upcoming and planned videos (still have to catch up on couple old ones tho). I've always found the more educational videos inspiring and entertaining, even more so than the usual fish room vids and such. Educational content let's me understand the hobby better and helps me plan future projects, while making me feel like I'm doing something useful :)

Hey Cory, enjoying all the creative ideas you have done and are doing. Here is a thought that comes to mind often. I think it would be cool having aquarium plants that doing their thing and bloom above the water line. But I don't like the look of the water line below the rim of the tank to see this. Is it totally impractical to have a curved lid to see plant flowers or growth through and still keep any fish with jumping tendencies in the tank? Maybe a flater area on top to rest the light on. Sliding side door to feed and do some other maintenance through. Just a thought.

Have you tried 3D printing fish tank parts yet? Like gravel hides and tunnels and corner tunnels? The way you can expand the tank for the fish gets pretty wild! I like the tunnels and stuff you can print, so do the fish.

I always love watching your videos unfortunately my membership lapsed because I’ve changed credit cards so I gotta update that evidently and I definitely need to make sure I don’t do it on my iPhone just like what you were saying anyways back to the subject at hand the shipping issues yeah I have shipped live food cultures in the past and it was a nightmare I’m a super small time breeder but working my way up you mentioned live bearers. I’m definitely gonna check out your store and one of my trips to Seattle but shipping is such a gamble just like you said you may create a gourmet meal, but you hand it to someone who is a chainsmokers and by the time it gets to the person‘s house who knows what it’s gonna smell and look like no offense to chainsmokers lol

Only time I ever had issues with bloodworms was with peacock cichlids getting crazy bloated and dying when I fed a crap ton of bloodworms, but I never actually AB tested to verify, so it's all anecdotal from me

If a plant likes hard water then it’ll tolerate salt. Most house plants that we grow in the aquarium hate salt , pothos is salt intolerant, but Cory has a bunch so maybe it can tolerate it for a month or so before it gives up.

I nuked bladderwort with 2 power heads. All clear in a month. It can’t feed if there is too much flow. It literally vanished and I didn’t have to manually remove a thing!
