Kirksville Powersports in Kirksville MO. just picked up the ARGO Brand. After decades of selling Yamaha, Honda, and Can Am, Our tech has put all of them together when they come off the truck. He says it is heavier built than all of them! We're excited about these 1000 Magnums, in fact, Argo is all we sell now! Going forward they are supposed to offer a few more colors. We can't believe just how much more quiet this engine is than the competition. Great Machine, and Thousands less than Can Am or Polaris !!!

Nice to see that Argo is offering an upgrade to their sxs lineup! I have the Argo Magnum XF500 - their entry level SXS and love it, great performance and does everything I need it to do in one simple package, love the simplicity of this machine, gives you what you need in a SXS!

Bravo argo The less electronic gadgets the better . 3 drive modes is all you need High, low and reverse. Ppl go out to get away from being connected leave all the fancy screens and wifi in the office. The cluster is simple no need to be selecting between 4 different styles like cf moto Great video thanks for your tine

I realize looks are subjective but if and when I’m in the market for something like this, this is a great machine. I would buy this nearly every time over compared to the Ranger. The Ranger likely costs thousands more and looks like a box on wheels. This is a great looking machine and very well done by Argo!

I find this unit is super similar to a ranger. Looks like same frame, intakes up front the same, bus bar up front the same, front a-arms are similar. But I’m impressed with this machine. I’d get one and slap some 30” tires on square setup wheels and tires.

Tgb ! This unit is a tgb land max 1000 made for Argo much like argos ATV they are tgb blades made to be argos
@mattneily55073 ай бұрын
Argo outsources all their atv & utv products. All the single seat ATVs in their 2024 lineup are currently produced by Kymco, Infact Kawasaki's "new" brute force 450 that is slated for 2025 release is now currently available as the Argo Xplorer XR500 - BOTH of these models are rebranded Kymco MXU450 models. Another Kymco/Argo/Kawasaki "Brand collaboration" if you will is between the Kymco MXU700/Argo Xplorer XR700 ATV & the Kawasaki Mule Pro-MX, Kawasaki uses the same engine & transmission in that specific mule model to those 2 preciously mentioned ATVs. However, all their touring ATV models & ONE (this specific model) of their SxS are made by a company called Taiwan Golden Bee or TGB. The atv models are rebranded TGB Blades, this specific SxS is a rebranded TGB Landmax 1000. The other Argo SxS is actually a Kymco product, the Argo Magnum XF500, although I'm not sure of it's Kymco designation. Highly recommend doing your own research before pulling trigger on a TGB rebranded model. I was thinking about purchasing an Xplorer 700, but could barely find any info on them. I managed to find a couple Facebook groups of Argo ATV/SxS owners & most catastrophic issues seem to be with all the TGB rebranded products. Kymco on the other hand are actually quite a reputable company, they were at one time Hondas manufacturing department for the Asian market. However, the biggest issue I've seen on these FB groups between BOTH companies manufactured products here in North America, is parts availability. I've seen some posts of people being waitlisted for 6-8 months on axles, control arms, radiators, etc. the Kymco products - from what I've read the biggest issue is poor material quality in control arm bushings, one guy went through 2 full sets in the front in under 1200km - luckily he was a machinist, made his own bushings out of brass and hasnt had an issue since.

@@mattneily5507I wish they would just say this in their videos. While outsourcing is common in many industries, customers should be aware that these are simply rebadged.
@Tom-lk8dk2 ай бұрын
@@mattneily5507 Thank you for the info, I figured it was something along those lines. As a consumer, I would be reluctant to purchase any of the rebranded and/or Taiwan- or Chinese-sourced units. Long-term support and parts availability seem suspect. I have a 2024 Defender and I like it, it fits my needs perfectly. I do enjoy watching the reviews to see what the competition is doing. Cheers!

Don't like having intake under hood.. Water Crossings that's the first thing that goes under.. Would you say the seat Comfort is between the defender and the Ranger ? & info on transmission such as gears & if it has reverse chain 🫣
@dirttraxtv2 ай бұрын
We've crossed a lot of water with this unit in our testing. I'd say it's competitive. It isn't a mud bogger, so no high snorkels but I bet you didn't know that most utility sport units only recommend crossing water that comes up to the floor boards sooooo.....
@Jermy3372 ай бұрын
Almost all water Crossings is muddy water hear.. I don't normally go deeper than the top of my tires... but the news is always the first thing to take a dive when you hit a low spot.. I've also had new machine drown in 12" of water due to tipping over & intake sucking from the side of machines..

Ever considered doing a small walk around and the test in the same video? Would that bite into profits and clicks and viewers to much?
@dirttraxtv2 ай бұрын
The walk arounds are something we can do relatively quickly and get online for our viewers. There's more production time with our reviews beastie they appear on our TV show, which is also why they fit into a roughly 6-7 minute timeframe.

Let's get back to honest comparisons between the several companies and their products! I get this basically is a walk around, but for a lot of us potential buyers that don't have access to a dealer that would let us test drive all the competition in the environment for which we are buying it for, we rely on you guys to give us complete "UNBIASED" info and opinions! It just seems in all of your videos you're too afraid to mention a competitor's name when making comparisons and your videos are just coming off as a "everybody gets a trophy" mentality! My gosh, how many is there now in the "utility 1000 cc class" market? 5, 10, 15.... different choices? How do I decide which one to buy without a test drive?? Let's see some 100% unbiased comparisons or at least 100% unbiased opinions if you cannot line them all up for comparisons at once!
@curtisbull15833 ай бұрын
Right on, someone else seeing what I see. There guys leave out so much info it drives me crazy. They definitely are not as honest as I wish they would be. A review from actual owners that gets no kickbacks, money, or special treatment would most likely give the kinda review potential buys are actually looking for.
@kruzininla3 ай бұрын
According to to the show and full episodes here, they are sponsored by the major manufacturers. You just can’t bite the hands that feed you.
@curtisbull15832 ай бұрын
@kruzininla that's the issue. Good for them bad for us.
@dirttraxtv2 ай бұрын
Man, it's tough to reply to comments like this on a Friday, but here goes. You're getting tons of info here. This is NOT a review, just an overview, which are typically longer and provide much more details about the unit itself, minus opinions on ride , etc. You'll also see a review, which will be shorter due to it fitting into a 22 minute episode that will run on network TV (Yes, we are on TV). It is VERY rare that we have competitive models on site at the same time, as these vehicles are loaned to us for a short time period. HOWEVER, sometimes the stars align and we can do a comparo or shootout against two or more models that people want to see. For the record, what is it you think we're hiding and who have we NOT mentioned that has you all fired up? Were you a couple beers in when you wrote this? Do you still feel this same bitter taste in your mouth? Lemme know. I'm here for you. I can answer questions if you can be respectful and rational. Cheers. 🍻
@MrJeffyb692 ай бұрын
@@dirttraxtv Yes, I am always respectful and rational, in fact I have purchased an ATV, a SXS and a( 2) snowmobile's, mostly based on your videos 🙂 And I have mentioned that in 1 of your videos. I do feel you guys are one of the best in the industry in bringing the content and info I want. I love most of your reviews and walk arounds, but in some cases you guys will make a random statement about a feature of one of these, let's say like in this video, you make a statement on the door netting being simple, and diss a "competitors" set up?? You had that "competitors" name in mind, why not just say it??....Polaris, Can Am, ...etc.. It just makes a video seem more honest and informative when you do it. For example: @ 13:46 in this video, you make a comment about the throttle response of this unit, compared to a Polaris ranger....YESSSSSS!! that's what I want to hear! I go back to my original statement, A lot of us don't get to drive these and only go by what we read or watch, or what our peers have.We want to know ALL the differences that you can offer us based on "your" experience, and include the competitors name, it helps! When you just say "competitor" that does not help at all. I'm not trying to get all up in your kool-aid, on this, just giving my constructive criticism to help make the videos better 🙂 P.S. I was only 1 beer in, a Guinness to be exact 😁🍻Cheers🍻

Great review I will admit however that I'm a little disappointed the review is not transparent to the customer! This is NOT Argo by anymeans, this is 100% TGB and has been in the canadain market now for a year already. FYI TGB has been in the Canadian market since 2005 and have been making waves now in the industry for years. Again Great Review but not letting the consumer know the Real manufacturer is Misleading! Slapping an ARGO STICKER ON IT DOES NOT MAKE IT AN ARGO.
