Just bought a pair of these this offseason! Bought them because they're my first pair of skis that aren't rentals and seem to do everything really well. Excited to try them out this winter

Same. I'd love to be able to get 2 or 3 pairs of skis to specialize but I don't have that kind of money. I think the 95ti will do really well at just about everything but deep powder in which case rent powder skis for the day

This might be a really good ski for me. I ski the Pacific Northwest where variable conditions are the norm. I’m concerned about the stiffness of the ski. Does it take a lot of force to get the ski to carve? I’m more of a cruiser than a hard charger but I can charge when I have to. I’m an older skier (67), 6’5” and 210 pounds, experienced advanced intermediate. Thanks

It takes a good deal of force to bend the ski, but your size should help. I do think you can size down here to access a better turn radius, so the 180 is worth considering as well.

Hi guys, do you have any recommandation for the mounting point? Maybe +2 for a little bit more play? And 180cm for a 6,0 Male with 182 pound should be fine, right? Thanks in advance!

There's not a lot of playfulness with these skis as they're on the precise side of the spectrum. Keep in mind that when you go forward, you increase tail. With a stiff and flat tail like in Maverick, that adds quite a bit of ski behind the boot.

where would this slot in comparison to the Elan Ripstick 96 black and the Nordica Enforcer 94 in relation to carving capability vs low speed maneuverability off-piste and in the bumps? Looking for a front-side ski for colorado snow with some off-piste. already have a wider ski for deep days.

Considerably closer to the Enforcer than the Ripstick.

Hi Jeff, how do you compare the maverick 95ti with kore 93? they seem share some characteristics, light weight, stiff, agile etc...
@SkiEssentials15 күн бұрын
They are similar in terms of application for sure, but the Maverick feels more composed and damp due to the metal. The Kore is more energetic and has a surprising amount of grip and stability for such a light ski. Most skiers will appreciate the mobility of the Kore as a result and it feels like a better off-trail, bump, and tree ski.

Last season i skied a pair of maverick 86c. I had fun in them but i wasn't completely satisfied with them. I didn't feel stable enough and they weren't precise enough especially when trying to make narrower/hard turns at higher speeds. I'm looking to upgrade but i can't decide if what i am looking for are these 95ti or if i would be better with pair of atomic bent 95

Yeah I hear you about the precision and stability of that ski, but they are very quick! The move to the 95 Ti makes sense as you're getting strength and power from added surface area and an increased build. You will be able to feel the difference immediately when it comes to stability at higher speeds as well as all-around versatility.

I don't think there is a Bent 95 but if you are looking for stability and precision the Maverick ti series is a better bet anyway.

@@bearclaw5115 i like the fact that the bent are forgiving when being a little stupid on them, but i don't think they really are what I'm looking for. After watching the review of the 88ti i am considering buying them over the 95ti. I'm not sure if that is going to be the right choice yet
