2025 BMW M240i sDrive: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive(2024), Walkaround, POV and Review

I mentioned this in the video, but will say it again. I drove the 25 for a brief time and drove a 24 model for most of the test drive. The only difference is the steering wheel and badges. Power and the drive is the same. When I have to chance to drive a 25 model I will make another review. But the drive is the exact same.

It’s the black trim and black mirrors, spoiler and better wheel option and the dark tints. With an M2 if you had carbon or black mirror caps, black spoiler and add a front lip it will look better

Fully optioned this car will cost you about $60k. In fact it was cheaper than my 18 F32 440xi. And you're getting a lot of car for that money. And let's be honest, the average M owner will never track their car. Instead most people will do a pull from a red light, and this car spanks most of the cars out on the street when it comes to that. With a good set of tires you can do 0 to 60 in under 4 seconds and that's without launch control. For the price, what you are getting here is a comfortable GT car. And when set in sport plus, it's a go-kart on steroids.

I am torn between this and M2. I test drove the M2 and loved the burbles and aggressive shifts. Is it possible to get similar sound and shifts with this car, without voiding warranty?

I wished they still made a convertible m240i, i loved my 2017 m240i droptop, now the only options are the m440i or the z40i

Yeah that could be cool. I don't think convertibles sell all too well anymore. But would be a nice affordable option

Yes. xDrive is the AWD. Most BMW they call RWD sDrive. Not sure if they specifically cal this an sDrive. But just saying it's RWD

Yeah it annoys the hell out of me. There is a button on my 22 G42 M240 for Max air but to turn the the AC off guy have to access the menus. This make absolutely no sense.

That M badge on the lower grill is awful, but I do like that BMW is paint matching the skirts and rear bumper from the factory. Actually helps a lot with the overall look.

Loaded M240 is about $58 and we’ll Optioned M2 is about $68-. $10k more - better because of holding value and has a manual! 😊

@@BrosFOURRSpeed - I would rather get new M2 for a few thousand more. M2 new for mid 60’s. Not bad. New M240 is mid $50’s. So $10 more for new M2 manual

BMW design is just all over the place this current gen for all their cars.. The only good one left over is the X5 and that's going to get trashed soon too
