I had the 4 with a manual & have since traded it for a 5 with the auto. Some would consider it sacrilegious to select the auto, but California traffic, endless signal lights, & general congestion just makes the auto far more livable. It’s my weekend car, but even the Suburbs have become subject to Urban sprawl & manuals are a chore in my area.

Once they kill production by 2025 (iirc), and Cadillac goes 100% EV. You might wish you had gotten the stick. Their value & demand will skyrocket similar to manual c7 ZR1's. But both the auto's & manuals are fantastic cars and will be appreciated for decades to come. Congrats on owning both Blackwings though👍

Great video...look forward to your test drive! Front end looks better on the 2022-24 models. Not sure why they put those long black plastic pieces in breaking up the front fascia design. I also prefer the two separate LEDs on side instead of a single long one. Stacked headlights look like older CT6. Looks less aggressive overall from the front IMO.

Was the ct4v a 2025 model? Or was it the 2024? I wonder if they are bringing the interior changes to the 4 for 2025? My 2024 ct4v is being built now, and I'd like to know if that will be a change :) thanks dude

no change for the ct4 lineup, only the ct5 got a refresh for 2025

The same, only difference is the front is slightly different and the infotainment screen is one big screen from the dash cluster to the center.

When will we finally get rid of the horrible custom of signifying top models with add-on bits? When will they finally just slightly change the design (if they must) and keeping it a nice & coherent overall design instead of the base model design with just a tacked-on ridiculous collection of cheap-looking add-on bits?

They should have added at least another 30 horsepower to the CT5 Blackwing and drilled an air intake on the hood.
