For the last couple of years, dealership have added $15,000 to $30,000 above and beyond full MSRP on the newest body style Escalade. Most recently, Dealers are adding on average, $50,000 on top of full MSRP for the new Escalade Performance. ‘’V - series.’’ So folks are purchasing a car priced from between $90,000 & $125,000 (depending on model) having a addendum market fee of between $15K to $30K added to MSRP - (image buying a platinum for $120,000 + an extra ‘’because they can,’’ fee of $30,000 = $150,0000.00 OR the V-series MSRP of $150,000 + the ‘’because they can,’’ fee of $50K = $200,000.00 ~additionally, the extended warranty is no longer $2,500 it’s now over $5000.+ (so, if the least expensive base model of the IQ) will start around $130,000 & likely go to upwards of $160,000+) how much will dealers decide to ADD to those MSRP’s?! In other words, - will the IQ be another $200,000.00 + dollar SUV?

I do really like the inside and outside of this! The only thing i hope can change is the shiny wood, it could be real wood but it makes it look fake or plastic like which is a shame cause the metal etching looks really nice. Love that they really redesigned the exterior they took a lot of inspi from the Lyric as well as other Cadillcas from the past, the design doesn't just look like a Yukon anymore and is more than just one big box. Edit: and that e-truck is amazing surprised no one is talking about that! Especially when most automakes make the claim ppl dont use front trucks its nice to see such a nice large one here, it's probably the largest in the industry since it could fit 2 golf clubs

Oooo, ok this is a lot 😂. It looks very controversial from every angle. The front is recognizable as a Cadillac, glad that they still keep the familiar waterfall style look. The side looks like a Rolls Royce Cullinan and the back is exactly how Mason described it. Interior wise i couldn’t do it. I’d be overwhelmed with that large screen. U dont need to go to the movies cuz u have the movies in your car. The backseats is what the normal escalade NEEDS. High class like a private jet. This would make a very good electric family suv. Grandparents can enjoy the second row and the kids can be happy with the 3rd row. Its a win win for everyone

Second row leg room is 41 inches and headroom is about 38 or 39 inches. Third row legroom is 30 inches but with 38 inches of headroom. Legroom figures over the gas powered model has been reduced by 6 inches as compared to the gas powered model.

This is probably going to be GM’s most Important EV. The Escalade is now GM’s halo vehicle whether they want to admit it or not. It’s popular, well known and good looking. This EV version looks very athletic and not lacking in attention to detail or luxury. And the Gas powered version has an ATP of 110k so this being 130-140k will not harm the brand.

Great review guys! Not a fan of the electric vehicles, but I love GM vehicles so I loved the video! It is a beautiful vehicle. I still love my 2010 Cadillac Escalade, still runs great 👍! I am going to dread the day I have to get rid of it because I love the 4 prone steering wheels, I drive in that 4/6 position so with the cars of today, there's nothing to hold onto 😀. I'm screwed. I will have to buy a Tahoe or YUKON but they are about to screwed up the steering wheels on them too, 😆. Love your channel!

Everyone's talking about the price, and I mean I know it's expensive, but that's just how much they are going for. I paid 130K for my 23' Escalade ESV diesel, and the Escalade V is going for 150k right now, so it wouldn't make sense for them to list the new EV drastically cheaper. I will deff be trading my Escalade in for this, will probably be a few years to its actually readily available. And I'm sure there's gonna be huge markups at the beginning.

Cadillac surely has winner on their hands. They haven't executed a vehicle this good in over 50 years. No excuses for the interior or exterior, and the presentation is just what it should be, expensive looking. They'll sell every one that they can build. They really need to drop the incredibly stupid "600" and now "1000" numbers on their vehicles. Americans don't know what Newton Meters are and Cadillac buyers surely don't. Having these numbers scream Euro envy and it is categorically is not needed with this vehicle.

Nice vehicle for the 1st 50 miles but the guy from Canada bought a EV $132,000 drove 258 miles paid 56 dollars foe a 2hr.charge got back in drove till he and family couldn't, no more charging stations along his route with like 7 miles to go.
