Even if I was given one for free, I couldn’t afford to have Cad fix it if it broke. No regular mechanic is going to be able to touch it. Which always equates to heavy depreciation down the road. So many 6 figure vehicles become almost worth nothing 10 plus years down the road due to over-engineering that only a dealer can fix. You better be a millionaire to throw this much money away.

I don't like the massive touch screen it's distracting and it deprives the interior of some charming design details, the current touch screen of the last version is pretty enough, a good balance of cutting edge technology and fancy looks

So 130,000 is the starting price. It won’t be released until 2025. The first lighting was supposed to start at 39,000 when the company announced it. 200,000 when it’s available?

The vehicle is gorgeous, no doubt, and I plan on buying one-if I can ever get one. But I do have to say that despite all the techno-wizardry in the vehicle, Cadillac seems to have forgotten something critical that it eluded way back in its 1976 brochures: the first luxury is the luxury of CHOICE. Having only two interior color options for a $175000 vehicle is ludicrous. But that’s probably due to the GM bean counters who obviously know nothing about marketing cars properly.

Let’s see if they missed the simple things, first, the charging port should be at the front of the vehicle, and the back of the vehicle, I’m not gonna back my vehicle into my garage, or drag the charging cable across my driveway to get to the rear of the vehicle common sense. secondly let’s see if they can get the sunvisors correct for the passenger driver and people in the rear of the vehicle. I’m so tired of having to put a piece of paper to block the sunlight because they didn’t design the visor to cover the top section of all of the windows.

Most ppl can not afford this and live comfortably. Even if u makin good money ur not affordin this; especially in todays economy. You would have to be extremely well off or makin upwards 200k, maybe 300k min a year.

Don't know what type of channel this represent but this channel does not come across as a luxury vehicle channel. There will be many people with money who wants something different than the ICE Escalade. This ICE Escalade has an average price transaction out the door at $112K and $114K due to it being a phenomenal vehicle for the reason the demand is so high. Some dealers are having market adjustment prices above MSRP for the ICE Escalade. So $130K is the starting price for Level 1 Luxury/Sport so anyone can afford this and above the asking price. Also, you failed in the video of not noticing the as test price at $175K for this vehicle that you had seen in person. Keep in mind that there are going to be more lavished versions with Level 3 Luxury/Sport coming that could have a Platinum package so the asking as-tested-prices could reach to and above $200K. There are people who want the luxury experience and the Escalade is a very hot seller that just clicks with the market. Look at some of the exceptional cars currently on the market that can't match the sales volume of the Escalade that struggles: S Class, 7 Series, G Glass, Range Rover & G90 are some perfect examples that failed to reach 40K plus units annually since the 5th generation Escalade was introduced as a '21 model. So, people will buy the Escalade at this price. People also buy Escalade-Vs and dealers are having trouble keeping them on lots due to very high demand. GM had been having supplier issues for the reason they can't roll out many EVs from the start. Spring Hill battery plant is their second building coming close to be complete to start pushing batteries out very soon. Also, GM is being careful of quality control for the reason of slow rollout. More LYRIQs and Hummers are currently being build in greater volume now and people seem to be buying those vehicles again.
