I find off-roading in any compact 4x4 to be way more fun. Bigger cars just make it too easy in most situations and cause a lot more trouble when they get real stuck. I'd go for a 4x4 Duster.

Sorry, but you kind of messed-up the engines. Both cars have, at least here in Romania, 3 engines: 1 full hybrid, 1 ICE and 1 ICE dual fuel (gasoline+LPG). The Bigster offers 10-15 more BHP for full Hybrid and ICE and 30 more BHP for dual fuel engine. So, the lineup is: Duster: - Hybrid 140, 2x4 - 1.6 liter ICE, 4 cylinders of 96 BHP + 50 BHP electric motor - TCE 130, both 2x4 and AWD - 1.2 liter TCE 3 cylinders - Eco-G 100, 2x4 1.0 liter TCE 3 cylinders running on dual fuel Bigster: - Hybrid 155, 2x4 - 1.8 liter. 4 cylinders TCE 107 BHP + 50 BHP electric - TCE 140, 2x4 - 1.2 TCE, 3 cylynders - TCE 130, AWD, 1.2 TCE 3 cylinders - Eco-G 140, 2x4 3 cylinder running on dual fuel TCE 150, AWD was put on previous generation of Duster (Duster ph2) and Renault discontinued it along with 1.5 dCi diesel for this 3rd generation.

Duster also has a hybrid powertrain with a 4cyl 1.6 engine. Well, at least in Europe. The updated, new 1.8 litre hybrid can be found in the Bigster. Also, Duster only has single zone AC control, Bigster - for the first time in a Dacia - has dual zone AC, and also has a rear armrest, while Duster haven't, even with top tier trims. Same goes for the new centre console area, Bigster has a lifted, cockpit like centre console unlike the Duster. Too bad Renault didn't learn from reviews and customer feedbacks, and also missed out on the 4x4 option with the hybrid, still only available with that pathetic 3cyl Tce engine 😕

Is a CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle)!

Hi! Thank you for your feedback 🤗
@CityTelek3 ай бұрын
The difference between an SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) and a CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) lies in their construction, size, and intended use: Construction: SUV: Built on a chaise (body-on-frame) design, meaning the body is mounted on a separate frame. This provides a more rugged build, making it suitable for off-road driving, towing, and handling heavier loads. CUV: Built with an autoportant (unibody) structure, where the body and frame are integrated into a single unit. This makes the vehicle lighter and more fuel-efficient, but less capable of handling heavy-duty tasks compared to an SUV. Size: SUV: Typically larger and more robust, offering more interior space, higher ground clearance, and the ability to carry heavier cargo. CUV: Generally smaller and more compact, designed for better fuel efficiency and easier handling, particularly in urban settings. Off-Road Capability: SUV: More capable off-road due to its chaise-based construction, higher ground clearance, and commonly available all-wheel drive or 4x4 systems. CUV: Less capable off-road, primarily optimized for on-road use with some light off-road capability. Ride Quality: SUV: Often has a stiffer ride because of the chaise-based design, but it is better at handling rough terrains. CUV: Offers a smoother, more car-like ride, which is ideal for everyday urban driving and comfort. In summary, SUVs are rugged and suited for heavy-duty and off-road tasks, while CUVs are lighter, more fuel-efficient, and designed for urban and everyday driving, thanks to their autoportant structure.

It still a long run to 2025 and the future of petrol prices ( concidering the change in West) and taxes are open.. For the difference I go for Bigster Hybrid: the price is the enigma. Even if the price starts low at 22 k we know it will never be lower than 30 k. We see that with Duster. And for just 2k extra you buy a peugeot 2008
