@3:48 That button links the front and rear A/C to have the same settings. Unlinked, they can have independent settings. The recirculation button is on the far right of the screen (top button)

Very good Google built-in system. is there a reason why the Maps sattelite view is not included (as compared to GMC, Chevy, and Volvo vehicles)?

I just bought a 2025 Explorer a few days ago. It’s very nice, but I was wondering why the climate control keeps switching to drawing air from outside? I prefer to have it recirculate from the cabin. Is there a way to keep it that way?

Great video, One question I am hoping you can answer, does this system allow for a digital key (using your phone as a key to use the vehicle)?

Not that I know of. You can start the car with the app but it won't let you drive.
@rockawhere9576Ай бұрын
No digital key. Maybe at have the physical keys in the vehicle. With fordpass you can start the vehicle lock and unlock the vehicle from anywhere. But as soon as you get in the vehicle it requires a physical key to drive

Do you have to subscribe on a monthly basis for Google services like maps?

Actually not true. There is a monthly subscription needed for Ford Digital Services (after 1 year free trial). However, prices have not been released yet.

Doesn't look like you can set Google Maps to satellite mode when done natively. I know, some people hate satellite, but I strongly prefer it as I'm a visual navigator, so seeing the landmarks is much more useful than what I call "cartoon mode". Anyway, I can still just use Carplay with Google Maps and satellite mode works great. My 2025 Platinum is on order. No ETA yet.

Ingenious. But if you're doing ANY of these things while driving, you're operating a potential death machine for innocents with whom you are sharing the roads! How many people will be responsible and pull over to deep dive into the menus? At least with buttons and knobs you can adjust by touch without taking your eyes off of the road even for a split second, which IS REQUIRED with touchscreens. Yeah, you may be very quick after you get to know your way around the menus, but you will still have to LOOK at the screen. DEADLY!

There's a ledge at the bottom of the screen that you can rest your fingers on and press the buttons with zero issues. Unless you are an ape, it's actually quite easy

I sat in one last weekend and between the screen rising 2-3inches above the dash and a large rear view mirror and the blacking out of the windshield behind the mirror really limits visibility. Bad design
