Honestly, be it in a ½, ¾ or 1 Ton, the one thing I feel ALL of the Manufacturers need to offer across the board in their models, is the 8 ft Bed for those who need/want them.

@@Jkub101 It's a long truck in the Crew Cabs. And way less maneuverable of course. All HD Supercabs for 2025 are 8' now from what I see on the builder page. Ford dropped the standard bed on this model. All single cab HD have the 8’ bed.

YES, thank you for changing brands if that is what you did. I did buy Fords all my life for PUs and switch to a 2021 Silverado Z-71 4 door 8 foot bed. It has the Duramax/Allison Automatic 😊 I got big tires with mine, and it makes the truck look better 😊 it's funny he makes a big deal about the bed steps. GM had that back before my year. I use them.😊 I got the fog lights with mine. My chevy was a lot cheaper than that Ford. The Ford Dealership treated me so badly that I just wanted to look at new Ford PUs, and they would NOT test drive my 2000 F-250 8 long cab 8 foot bed. Ford wants you to give them Money to be on list just to even talk with sales about buying. Both Dodge and chevy Test drove my 2000 ( 63000) miles on odometer first thing, without asking me if I would buy their PUs. I was looking at the ( Cummins) also.

In 2025 I don't think the moonroof comes with the Platinum as standard now. Only if you get the Platinum Plus package.

So we can tell you haven't really looked because you can get a Platinum without the Moonroof. That is only standard if you take the Platinum Plus package which in early years was really a "Limited". Also, apparently you have never been in a vehicle that uses ActiveX material. It is a lot more durable than cloth, doesn't stain as easy as leather, and a lot more comfortable than vinyl. You think about it, a lot of folks using these trucks at the Lariat and below levels are dirty when they get in them. ActiveX is actually a good material for a work truck.

My 2024 DRW 350 KR was $98k and came with spray in bed liner, hard roll up bed cover, 35k FW, max recliner seats, safe,Trailer camera….. damn near every option possible

Will say on my Silverado 3500 get into the 4 low 4x4 that I have to put in neutral to engage. I have used it in deep sand at Ocean Beach. And have seen trucks stuck in sand. I also had snow up to running boards on my PU, and 4x4 LOW got me through the unplowedRoads. I do like Ford, still having the ( hub) lockers on the wheel

That's crazy my 24 F350 Platinum was cheaper and came with way more! The projector headlamps makes it worth it alone. I got the Pearl White it's amazing still ticked with the CP4 and lack of a high Idle built in.

Great review - love my 2022 Ford F-350 Tremor! But the payload is 800 lbs. less that the truck you reviewed - fully loaded - I would love to have 4k of payload! Have 40k on mine - not a single issue! Was a GM lifer - but this Ford has me hooked for HD trucks - next one will be an F-450.

I have this exact same truck ordered with the 7.3 gas, 4.30 gears, no sunroof, and no lariat ultimate which is a raping for a few un needed electronic options for 71k out the the door. 90% the same truck for nearly 30k less. I tow nothing, just love riding in a big truck, so no diesel for me. Just sold my 2022 f450 diesel because the property tax and maintainence were insane. can't wait to get this new whip in. This color with the blackout is fire. Can't wait to be in a big v8 again.

Yes they can’t compete with ford when it comes to cheaping out. Ford has done it worse than any other brand out there with the cost cutting. 2025 lariat is not acceptable and not even as nice as a 2017 lariat from almost a decade ago. Active x garbade no power adjusting steering wheel no keypad removal of buttons above center screen removal of chrome trim piece on seat controls removal of chrome trim on door handles inside the door pocket. Removal or front camera washer and much more.

Thank you for going through a new Ford PU . I will say on my Silverado 3500 Z-71 I get another storage compartment under the middle storage compartment. Did the Ford come with power/ heating engine PLUG- in. I was a Ford PU guy all my driving life from my 1979 with 351 gasser. Wish I had gotten the bigger engine because my MPG would have been similar ( about 12 MPG). I wish I had the 4 barrels in that old truck. My 2000 F-250 extension cab with the backward rear door had the V-10 gasser That is the engine that United Rental puts in their 5-yard dump trucks ( I have rented that dump) with a load of gravel that V-10 is very slow up any hill. But I know why rentals go with gasser. It's for a fleet of conversation fuel types. My 2000 would get about 10 to 12 MPG in city driving. My Duramax/Allison gets about 15 MPG, same driving. The Chevy is a lot more comfortable driving even with big off-road tires 😊 I love that it has REAL gages and a transmission ( TEMPERATURE) screen on Middle Dash panal. Again, I will say I was a true and true Ford PU owner all my life. This new baby girl, Silverado 😊 I love going on a long trip to this Chevy. The dealership just treated me right compared to the way Ford treats customers. I give very high marks to Dodge and Chevy dealers On truck buyers. Doing test drive first of trade-ins. And NOT pressure to buy any truck. I feel in love with that Silverado Z-71 4 door 8 foot bed the moment I so her on lot. Then, the Duramax/Allison stood out on engine cover. I was SOLD on her.

Looks like they took the speakers out of the headrest for the lariat ultimate and also chrome border around the seat controls. Mild changes inside, but I can tell. Beautiful outside color! AND no known changes yet to the fuel pump! Lol. Oh well, neither of my superdutys have given me any issues with fuel pump! hmm? 🤔😇

Yeah I think I'll stick it to gm. I've never had any issues with em. We used ford at work til we got gm trucks. We were spending soo much money in repairs on the f series. But the silverados have had zero issues. Best decision our company did because we replaced 3 out of the 5 trucks transmissions and one needed 4 others because of how junk they are. And yes we did maintain them properly.

Ford has barely changed anything since the 2017 model year released trucks. Their interiors are still cheaply made garbage and they’re still using a CP4 HPFP, which has a moderate failure potential. I’ll never understand why Ford trucks are hyped up. The power people are after is a false reason to say they’re the best. Power when towing isn’t as necessary as torque and the Cummins torque curve is far superior. Ford’s design language is also extremely stale at this point.
