I’ve looked at most of the reviews on this car and yours is the best I’ve seen. Maybe personal preference, but I like the more info on the cabin and driving feel. i want a car that looks cool, but more important is the driving experience including tech and convenience. Thanks for a nice job.

The red interior is so much nicer in person than on camera as you mentioned. I purchased this vehicle a few months back and absolutely love it. Luckily I work from home and a tank of gas lasts me about a month because it is a gas hog and is its biggest downside. Any new vehicle should give you at least low 20s for mpg unless you go for high performance so they definitely missed that mark on the mpg’s

Nice! Congrats on the car! Glad to hear you're loving it. Yeah, it's definitely not the most efficient, but it's on par with the rest of the class. You're kind of in that in-between area of not no performance, but also not super high-performance, and they all get low 20s at best in mixed driving. I wouldn't be surprised if they give it more electric power in the future and go full hybrid to get better fuel economy, but we'll see where things go.

For those who dont know, you get much more for your money with genesis. Merecedes like the AMG GLC 43 have the touch pad on the wheel but no twist knob on the center console. BMW x6 only has a twist knob no steering wheel touch pad. Genesis gives you both!! Mercedes AMG GLC 43 doesnt even have rear heated seats or hvac control functions. Bmw X6 doesnt have soft close doors standard and the screen behind the wheel is at a slight angle and looks funny. Gv80 is straight! Gv80 just looks better. I looked at the other 2 vehicles and just bought the GV80 coupe E! Love it! Traded in a 23 GV eighty prestige.

A lot of things said in this review, made me say “eh” as I’ve been looking at every single review of this car, for potential buying purposes. The main reason why the buttons on the steering wheel was changed from metal and back to plastic, was for safety purposes. A lot of people complained about glare from the sun reflecting off those metal buttons. Lastly, you’re the first person I’ve seen, that has complained about the interior cabin being “noisy”. I’ve seen several reviews from channels that use special noise leveling mics to rate the quietness, and this car scored high when compared to other luxury brands that are known for having a quiet interior. Idk, you never went into full detail about the noise you were hearing, so we can’t determine whether the noise you were hearing, was road noise or engine sounds. If it’s engine sounds, you can disable that in Settings as those sounds are artificial compared to the real sounds this engine produces OR your test unit might need to have its sound deafening investigated because you shouldn’t be able to hear much road noise from this vehicle, based off other reviews I’ve seen that talks about how quiet the cabin is.

I appreciate the detailed comment. The noise was primarily wind noise on the highway, as I spend a decent part of my commute cruising around 70 mph. For the buttons, I never really had any kind of issue with the sun reflecting off of the metal ones (or the black ones) and I'd think a glossy surface would be just as bad or worse. But glossy black surfaces just scream cost-cutting to me. Any criticisms for this car were a bit nitpicky, as I tried to mention in a few places, as it really is an excellent car overall.

Yeah, wind noises shouldn’t be happening. Something was definitely off with the unit you received. I agree, “glossy” buttons would probably have the same effect. They should’ve kept metal buttons but used an oxidized black finish that resists scratches, so scratches wouldn’t turn silver.

Hey I appreciate the note either way. Just wanted to make sure that was the right context. I still think it would be a little easier to see in the mirror, but I get what you're saying, there's still some visibility from the side.
