the matte green bagger is from the 2024 model. I guess they didn't sell that color well so they are restamping it as 2025 model

This is all they have done just bring back the same model and raise the price. This is the 50th anniversary and nothing??? Wow.... I was waiting to see if they would at least update that boring analog dashboard. So I won't be buying no Honda goldwing.

We like the analog dash! Leave it alone. Fiat currency is almost at the end of its life, hyper inflation is a real possibility that is why everything is going up rapidly in price. It might be a good time to swap any savings in to gold, silver etc. before it's too late.

I still can't get over the several hours(4 or 5?)it takes to change the air filter. Considering the very extensive dismantling required, the odds of successfully doing that ourselves or by an experienced Honda mechanic without breaking parts, missing connections, losing screws and other fasteners is very, very low in MHO. Great machine overall but good grief that is a huge turn off for me. I applaud the overall ingenious engineering involved but the air cleaner is a huge miscalculation, unless of course it was done that way intentionally to force owners to the dealerships for more gouging as all vehicle dealerships are designed to do to us one way or another. I will have to stick with my 15 year old Harley. Only a few screws to remove to install a new air cleaner filter. 🙂

Guys, don't be fooled by this video. This is not a 2025 50th. Anniversary Goldwing. 2025 marks 50 years of goldwing and will have special 50th anniversary badging and boot screen and new 2 tone color never seen before....

I am disappointed. 50 years of Honda, and 44 years of GoldWing and they pretty much ignored it... I was so hyped about a new model with modern display, airbag to the bagger too, front and back radar, wireless AA etc... So I guess BMW 1300GSA it is...

Same opinion like me, I actually own a SC68 for nearly 8 years, and I´m waiting for technical upgrades, to. But, life is short, next year for me the GS1300 aut., or the 1300RT with all options 🙂

If factually true then one can only be thankful for the greatest motorcycle ever made. The hi-tech is always going to increase prices, and scare buyers away rather than convince masses of riders to buy one. Adaptive cruise control, and lane assist doesn’t translate well with an active rider. But it’s only my opinion

Ask the honda rep on the stand, here in Europe, that said this is the goldwing for next year. Maybe in other regions they get a different one.

@@RideWithAlex But, it is 2024 spec. It's Euro 5, not Euro 5+ (or 5B if you prefer). As such I don't believe it can be sold from Jan 1 2025 - it's why the R1 has been withdrawn from EU/EFTA markets

@@faraway5828 Like I replied to many comments. I asked the Honda people on the stand, is this next year's model, they said YES, for Europe this is it. This is what Honda officials put on the show floor as the latest and greatest Goldwing. If they are planning to launch anything new in the coming months, I don't know. But at EICMA this is what they had on the floor.

Now hold on folks especially westerners, I do believe this is the European model and not the one set for U.S. shores. That being said I wouldn't expect much more than a different color for the westbound respective trims and" maybe" a 50th anniversary themed trim color? When it comes to anniversaries Honda has done both acknowledged AND ignored them. I honestly didn't think they would update much if any of the electronics and likely won't until 2027. Oh well.

The EICMA show is held in Milan and is dedicated to the E.U. Market. For example there was no Honda Trail 125 on the stand or other models that Honda sells in North America. Not all Goldwings are created equal. The Goldwing isn't a big seller here so I doubt we're getting anything special.

I have a 2001 Goldwing and i love it. The reliability and comfort are second to none. I wouldn’t mind upgrading it if a new model had and adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection. My new BMW 1300 GS has it and i find it necessary for a luxury touring bike.
