Really a great vehicle. We bought 2025 Touring trim with grey interior and silver outside. So smooth and quiet. We love it.

I just don’t get “must have a larger screen” comments. It is a vehicle for driving not watching an iPad.

If it has a screen, why would you want it to be smaller, harder to read, and have less functionality. When you’re using surround cameras to help park or maneuver, using the map to navigate, changing the radio station, etc, and you legitimately can’t see the benefit of more screen real estate then I don’t know what to tell you. You should probably just buy a used one from 1996. It won’t have any tech, so you can be happy with your old school vehicle. The rest of us don’t hate technology, and neither does the average car buyer based on what manufacturers are deciding sells more cars.

@CIRCLEDARK Changing Radio Stations? I use steering wheel mounted controls primarily to change radio stations. I have done that for almost 25yrs in my Acura 3.2TL Navi We also have 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTL Navi in family. It has optional back-up camera. Back-up camera wasn't standard on vehicles back then. Also has Voice Commands for Nav and Audio Climate System. But we got 2 new Honda vehicles this spring one is not in household but I picked it out. My nephew got 2024 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback to replace 2009 Ford Focus SE. Civic has 7 inch screen. So his mother wanted something newer more technology than Ridgeline especially phone technology and newer Navigation Waze without having to use cellphone on mount. I picked out 2024 Honda HR-V EX-L AWD. It has 9 inch infotainment screen. But also parking sensors. But you can see fine with 9 inch screen. I will be getting 2025 Pilot Elite soon. So it will have 9 inch screen and Multi-View Camera System. The larger one in Accord would be okay. But some of these screens are big Laptop size.

This is extremely well done. I have watched dozens of hours of videos about this generation of Honda pilot. I didn’t think there was anything else to learn. I was wrong.

Thanks for doing this. I just gave my older son my 2012 Pilot and thought I could just drive my Cooper S. I prefer to drive alone in the Cooper. I narrowed it down to the Pilot Touring but I believe the Pilot Black is my favorite now. 🤩

Honda needs to put a hybrid system in their bigger vehicles. Also needs 12.3 infotainment

I thought the trailsport comes with only 18” tires? But I’m pretty sure he said all pilots comes with 20”.

Yes 18s also on Pilots.

I also prefer a regular lever. Still, getting used to it in my wife’s Pilot. Does not bother me as much as I thought.

honda does everything to try and to make a unibody fwd based crossover look like a 4 runner instead of actually building a 4x4 4 runner
@fredmoss454016 күн бұрын
I don't know why you would say Pilot and 4 Runner. The Passport would be the more 4 Runner variant. The 4th Generation Pilot went back to it's 1st Generation boxy looks. The 2nd Gen was more bloated boxy looks. The 3rd looked more minivan. This looks nothing like 4 Runner more Durango and Everest exterior looks. But a hint of 1st Gen Pilot.

Not that people who buy the 4runner ever take it offroad but ok
@Que67kdro9016 күн бұрын
@@calebwany8422 Yeah only like a 40 year plus history of 4 runners going off road. Honda meanwhile fakes it. But hey at least it no longer looks like a van

@Que67kdro90 I'm in my 60s been owning Honda/Acura for 44yrs. But funny you said that old ladies. My aunt in about 1992 or 1993 bought new Toyota 4 Runner. Her son my cousin had a lot to do with that. At time he was driving Mustang 5.0 Convertibles with performance upgrades. No good in bad weather. So she was in her 60s when she got it. She was still working. But when another great aunt died in another state about few hundred miles away. She and son drove another great aunts car to the funeral. That great aunt was handicapped but still drove. She went with my mother and sister in her minivan. They didn't want to ride in that Toyota 4 Runner on a highway trip preferred the Buick LeSaber cushy ride on highway. That's the same reason I picked out a Honda Ridgeline Pickup Truck for my sister. No Toyota Tacoma or other Body-On Frame pickup. I couldn't imagine or late 70s and 80s 90 riding in Body-On Frame pickup truck on a long trip. But she rode from Maryland to South Carolina for family reunion in comfort. I wouldn't touch a 4 Runner as a daily driver. The 2026 Honda Passport Spy shots prototype testing out in Desert. Probably next Generation Ridgeline also getting same treatment. I would have got myself new Ridgeline if they had totally redesign on new platform. But I'm getting 2025 Pilot Elite.
