I don't drive like a maniac (compared to my teen years) so I don't need crazy horsepower. My Passport has been able to get me up to speed when I need it and the Pilot will probably do the same thing given same V6 type engine. My wife has the Acura RDX and I will say it's fun to drive but my car is usually the "hauler" and so getting the Pilot will do what it needs to do. For a vehicle like the Pilot, it's an excellent match particularly if you live in an area where snow is the rule rather than the exception. I've lived with swapping tires for 30 years, Its a breath of fresh air not having to do so. I still swap tires on my EQS, but Its a vehicle where Higg performance summer rubber makes a true difference. The Bridgestones that come with the Pilot are mediocre in summer and awful in winter. Honda simply equips them to squeeze less than an 1 MPG out of the Pilot and because they are cheap.

Should have gotten the Cherokee or a4 Runner
@redcapote47602 ай бұрын
@@nissanhonda25 Why? The Cherokee has crap Jeep reliability, and the 4Runner has a sluggish 6 cylinder and a rough ride.

@@nissanhonda25 should have gotten new Buick Enclave. True beauty inside. Honda has nothing to match, even new MDX is far behind.
@kubi04612 ай бұрын
I’d probably rather look for a one year old low miles certified MDX, factoring in that started with 1 extra year of warranty vs the Pilot.

Honda pilot was a good relaiable car, still too. but it far far behind as compared to its competitors. I thought this edition comes with new features that attract more customers, but this is still disappointing. 😢

They definitely should have added a bigger screen. That's a big no, no plus a little more power, maybe like 305 to 315.
@redcapote47602 ай бұрын
I bet on the refresh the Pilot will get it. The new Passport coming out probably won't. But oddly enough the Accords get the big screen.

I'm also glad the V6 is their, but I rented a similar Pilot with this same new engine V6- I have admit it feels way slower than last gen V6 which is disappointing to be honest for such a large vehicle. its the reason I'm holding off on purchase, I'm waiting until I get more info on the new Traverse 2.5L I-4 TC Engine Reliability
@redcapote47602 ай бұрын
A little tune will sort that out. It's far better looking and has great features.
@Tenfamlearn2 ай бұрын
You’ll be waiting a long time on that.. they aren’t going back to V6
@JremV2 ай бұрын
That traverse is slower than even this new pilot with the new 2.5 turbo. That’s why I’m holding on to my 2016 pilot cause the tech in this and power and mpg isn’t really any better. Definitely not worth the price increase unless you like the styling that much more which I will say is better

One had better keep tire-black on-hand, to keep them matched to the gloss black wheels, or they’ll look extremely dull in comparison.

I absolutely hate the tacked on after thought touch screens! Why not integrate them into the dash?

Oh goodness, how much? Yeah I would easily take the CX70/90 it’s the best looking vehicle for under 60k

Honda please give me little break , just that costs over 60k out of the door ? Crazy isn't it !!! I use 50k for used BMW X7 with 25k miles 😀😄👍👍

We just bought a Honda Touring AWD in north Atlanta out the door for $52,000. T is a fine vehicle. Not perfect to me because lack of traditional shift lever and infotainment can be a little bigger. But otherwise really a fine vehicle.

I wish Honda would re-introduce the Accord with a V6 engine ! My Accord V6 is a 2017 model. It’s still great but time marches on.
