I test drove this car for 2 hours at the weekend 6th Oct 2024 - I loved the car and put in an order the next day. I went for the ‘N Line S’ in Shadow Grey, 6 week delivery time. I test drove 4 different cars and for me this offered the best all round package.

@@CarSceneKorea - I test drove the Ford Kuga/Escape hybrid, the Kia Sportage Hybrid, VW Tiguan, and the Tucson was the final car. To be honest I think the Ford was the best to drive, but the interior quality is poor compared to the other cars I drove. I was tempted to wait for the Sportage facelift, but I got a very good deal on the Tucson, it was an easy decision in the end. I have a 6 week wait time, so not too bad.

regarding the regen level. You can set up to level 3 as you said. But... If you keep the left paddle pressed it will go to MAX and will actually even stop the car, it is stronger that level 3. But you need to keep it pressed, you can't set to MAX. Also if you keep the right paddle pressed you will set it to AUTO. Keep it pressed again it will go again to 1,2,3 levels. In Sports Mode, if you change gears with the paddle, and want to let the car to change again automatically, keep pressed the right paddle until you see D again.

@@CarSceneKorea Im scheduling a test drive with the new 2025 Tuscon hybrid this coming week since my local dealers are now getting them in stock. Something interesting I saw from the window stickers is the final assembly point on these is showing ULSAN KOREA. NOT our USA Georgia Plant (Which is where all of our problems in the USA we have had with our kia/hyundais have been coming from). So it seems they have just been fully assembling them there and shipping them overseas.

Thanks for all your great videos! What would be your choice between a top of the range Tucson facelift that has all the features like head up display and ventilated seats, a mid range Sante Fe or a mid range Sorento that don’t have head up or ventilated seats? I don’t care about fuel consumption/ fuel costs, I want the best performance, the best car to drive.

Long story short, Santa Fe or Sorento any day. The gap b/w the two segments have increased greatly with the all-new Santa Fe, it came out near perfect. But even if when comparing loaded Tucson to the all-new SF, there still is quite the price difference, isn't there? That's where Tucson comes in.

I really like hybrids, my mileage has been insane recently. Just pumped gas, since last refuel, drove more than 1000km with 275km left in the tank, the mpg for that full tank was 19.8kmpl. And it’s a bigger heavier pre facelift Sorento. And that was also with one of my kid sleeping in the car for 2 hours on one of the grocery run day. Also I do accelerate aggressively at times, when required.

Hey, great videos, the best presentations for this new Tucson that I have seen online actually ! I ordered PHEV, for the fact that is a 50ishKm EV on top of the Hybrid Tucson. Any thoughts on this? (cause I have not seen a Luxury PHEV presentation so far). (also for Europe, none of them get the fingerprint thingy in the dash, its just an empty space)

Is it possible with the hybrid (not the Plugin) to start the climate control for cooling and heating via the Blue Link App ?

Yep, it will run the engine most of the times.

It was only working in Smart Mode for the early models, but will have to double check and read owner's manual for the latest ones.

Was at my local Hyundai dealer in US and they admit they have no idea when 2025 Tuscon hybrids will get here. They only got an allocation of 3 and have no idea when they will arrive. Given the demand do you hear anything about the possibility of Hyundai building hybrids in the US at the Alabama facility?

I was at my local dealer yesterday and was told that they are expecting the first shipment of hybrids the middle of September. Their inventory online shows 20 Tucson hybrids "in transit." I have also read that Hyundai has announced plans to build hybrids in Alabama eventually.

Hi, you stated the android auto is associated with the HUD, but apple CarPlay is not. Could you please explain in detail? Does the HUD change in display with android auto vs apple card play?

It did with the latest Genesis facelift models, not sure if it did with Tucson. Even if they do, it's just a mere direction updates projected on the HUD, nothing major like the graphics or a whole new UI.

I don't understand your fuel economy explanation. Here in North America the lower the number the better... We would read that 14 litres of fueled burned per 100km... Can you explain how this is different in Korea or equate those numbers to North American... Thanks

Korea uses metric, Kilometer per liter, so higher that number, longer distance the car travels using one liter of gasoline. Others use Liter per 100 kilometer, therefore lower the better :)

I own a 2024 Tucson PHEV ultimate, a really nice vehicle and we love it. We drive 90% of the time on Electric only. What stupid about these vehicle, is the owner manual for oil change says change every 6 month or 8000 km. I contacted Hyundai, their response, "do it or your warranty is void" Why am I being ask to change oil every 6 months. I bought the vehicle because I love it, and I save a ton of money not buying gas, which is good for the environment, but what about the oil, why does it have to be change every 6 months. One vehicle not a big impact, but 100,000 a years is an impact.

@@dachu21 there is no baby mode in Europe. Well, in Romania, at least. No cameras that record even when parking, no fingerprint sensor, no camera that checks if you are paying attention to the road. No AR mode for navigation. Maybe some of them will come later with an update, hopefully.
