It's a failed model and will stay the same. Jeep haven't realized that for the segment they operate in, they are missing way too many things even in the base variant. Another things is the asking price of additional 3.5 lakhs for an automatic transmission with no additional features is simply criminal. Longitude plus offers best value, while jump in price to Limited(O) is again ridiculous for the small addition to the equipment list. Not sure who comes up with the pricing, as for a localized vehicle its ridiculous. Jeep should rather leave than putting out these half hearted products

Hi, @rohankhanna5885! There's no official word on the reintroduction of a petrol engine option for the Compass, but if and when Jeep revises the Compass' powertrain options, you'll hear about it first on carandbike, so stay tuned!

People who don’t own Jeep can’t understand Jeep. Don’t buy it if you are upgrading from a Maruti Tata or Mahindra or even a Honda. With 300 units sale each month, servicing is costly. Localization and own support just does not work on those kind of volumes. Jeep is rated highly unreliable in US. Buy Jeep for its chassis, buy it for its sturdiness, buy it for its class
