Your Cantonese is Malaysian style! It’s so refreshing to hear you speak and not try to be posh. Don’t change. I left Malaysia in 1970, and came from a generation of ‘bananas’ who can’t read Chinese. I love the fact that I can understand you without the subtitles. Don’t try to speak in ‘educated’ Cantonese. Be yourself and be authentic! Bugger the rest of the others! Love your channel.

Hi Nick, Happy New Year. I just came back from Malaysia right before Christmas. I forgot how humid and hot it was. I went to Char Siew Yoong by Taxi and Wanjo for Nasi Lemak. I was staying at Sleeping Lion, just a stone throw away I from Pavilion instead of the usual Hilton KL Sentral. I wanted to look you up but was thinking you might be busy videoing your food stuff. I think your Cantonese and totally fine as it brings out the uniqueness of northern Malaysian Cantonese. Lovely accents . And really appreciate you spend so much time introducing food scene all over Malaysia. Your videos a good guide for foodie and you are right, food is very personal and very subjective. Keep up the awesome work and keep fit too. I heard from a competitive eaters trick, whenever he eats a big meal, he will fast after that, maybe 24 hour liquid fast. That might be a good option together with good weight training. And you still look awesome even with those love handles, nothing to worry. Keep up the good work
