Not everyone thinks 3 rows are desirable. I much prefer the 2 row design and would not consider 3 row alternatives. Mazda understands that there are two completely different buyers. 2 rows mean more cargo room, less weight and, in this case, a sportier character with subtle design cues that differ from the CX-90.

The CX-60 is a better, smaller size, but the RWD platform and long nose to accommodate the drivetrain means the cabin gets pushed rearward. The result in the CX-60 is a very tight rear seat that is almost unusable if tall people are up front. Cabin space is very cramped. The architecture of this platform is very compromised because of the RWD configuration which forced the CX-70 and -90 to be oversized and heavy.

According to Lyn, everything is sunshine and rainbows, but aside from mention of a little jerkiness with the transmission, which is a chronic problem for the CX-70 and -90 and which has had numerous software fixes attempted, nothing was mentioned about the stiff ride, the heavy steering, and she even attempted to gloss over the bizarre infotainment system. Add to that an endless list of recalls, numerous buyer issues with flaky systems and features simply not working, and very odd configurations and pricing, and one can understand why these are stacking up on dealer lots. There are already numerous lemon law buybacks being reported on brand forums. A bit more transparency would be helpful.
