@@CTECH-REVIEW I think this RHO is super legit. Seems like a great option as an everyday driver with better gas mileage compared to the TRX. Is the TRX awesome? Of course, but not as a daily ride.

I have a new 2025 Ram 1500 with the standard SST Hurricane. At 475 miles, I got the misfire with a constant check engine light. The fault occurs at COLD FAST IDLE. My dealer has solved the problem. A full reboot of the PCM and THE IGNITION CONTROL MODULE is the fix. I now have 2,000 miles and 0 problems so far. I told my dealer to spread the word.

I have an August 2025 build Rebel with SO Hurricane. Runs great on regular 87 octane TopTier fuel. It seems to have a light throttle surge which is likely something that can be tuned out. The other thing is that it goes into high idle when it's cold obviously but ALSO after it is warmed up and sits for a few minutes. Other than that, seems to run great; MPG on the Rebel is 16-18 highway.

I bought a 2025 Ram Rebel 1500 about 3 weeks ago with the 3.0 SO manufactured in August of this year. I have been enjoying the truck after owning several Power Wagons, HD's, TRX, and other various Mopar products (all with HEMI's). The night before Thanksgiving I came out of a Big Box Store and loaded the truck and got into it, pushed the start button and all the lights came on, no response from the engine. Pushed the start button again and again.... The lights, dash, radio would not turn off. Still no response from the engine. Truck electronics froze along with tailgate. Screen popped up service code of "Service Transmission Continue in D. Do Not Shift or Turn engine off". All while parked and without the engine running. Finally talked with service at the dealer and they were unable to provide a response as there is no info available to them as of yet. Ended up disconnecting both vehicle batteries in hope to reset and get back home as everything was closed already. Reconnected and after a couple of minutes everything reset and started up with the Check Engine Light on the Dash. Vehicle currently has 1,667 highway miles. Unfortunate to say the least. Definitely some gremlins in the electrical and software side. On two other occasions, The theft alarm has randomly gone off, and while sitting in the vehicle idling, the left turn signal started blinking and would not turn off until the vehicle was restarted. We shall see what the dealer has to say when I take it in next week......and definitely praying these issues do not translate to the RHO I have on order....
@jdub1139Ай бұрын
Very sorry to hear that. Hopefully it’s an easy fix. 🙏

Interesting…my RHO has been periodically showing “Blind Spot Monitoring Unavailable, Service Required”. It makes an odd chime, then the message appears on the main IP. It’s fixed itself 4 out of 5 times. One time the problem persisted until I shut the ignition off & re-started. Dealer looking at it this week. Hoping for an easy fix. Bothersome…yes. A deal killer…not yet. As you said, it appears there are some “gremlins in the electrical and software side”.

@@CTECH-REVIEW UPDATE: So after being able to recreate the issue several times after, I Attempted to take vehicle to dealer this Saturday but as I pulled out of my driveway the same thing occurred except while the engine was running and in motion. Transmission would not shift out of the current gear, engine cooling fans kicked on at full capacity and vehicle advised to pull over stop and restart. Upon doing so, the same situation occurred and then I had a nice wait to watch my brand new $70k vehicle be placed on a tow truck to be delivered to the dealer as it would not start after trying to reset it multiple times. Pulled up the codes it was shooting. They are as follows U0100: LOST COMMUNICATION WITH ECM/PCM A (C-CAN) P1DAF: COLD START GEAR 5 INCORRECT RATIO U0001: CONTROL MODULE COMMUNICATION BUS A OFF P068A: ECM POWER RELAY LOAD CIRCUIT: (J271), DE-ENERGIZED PERFORMANCE TOO EARLY So I guess we will wait and see what the dealership says......Otherwise the vehicle is quiet, smooth, and powerful. Interior is nice and comfortable although the leather is not as plush as prior years (Rough and stiff) Only dislikes besides it not working so far are the HUMONGOUS tow mirrors which create massive blind spots when turning and wind noise, Fuel economy avg. 15mpg @5200ft elevation, 10mpg while towing 3,000lbs., wi-fi hotspot is gimicky. Hope this helps

Ram really screwed up not having a dipstick. The sensor is fine, but the dipstick is an absolute must. Too many cheap plastic parts is what I’m hearing….
@CTECH-REVIEWАй бұрын
I’m not to worried about that…yet. Ford has been running plastic intakes for 20 years. Plastic isn’t the problem if designed correctly. From what I am hearing ram built this engine internals to take a beating. Time will tell!

I’ve got a 23 Durango Hellcat and have the AC expansion valve issue that requires pulling dash out. Been like this for years and Dodge hasn’t fixed it. Although I agree early models are likely to have more issues but older designs don’t guarantee perfection either. IMO buy what you enjoy. Life too short to wait for the latest version of a design.

@ It was a loaner vehicle with low mileage, not sure what happened with it. Turned the vehicle off to fuel up, and after the vehicle turned back on to leave a low oil error popped up on the dash and that I should 1 quart and recheck oil level. It didn’t matter how much oil I added, the fluid level never increased. 4 days later, it fixed itself and the oil level read full. Kinda scary having that happen in the middle of nowhere.

Ram, like all Stellantis divisions heading into bankruptcy, were ordered by the just fired Stellantis CEO to significantly increase corporate profits by: 1. Switching to the cheapest lowest quality parts, remove essential parts such as engine oil dip sticks, replace superior safer 3 color tail lights with 2 color tail lights, etc. and even going so far as removing exterior metal sections in exterior body panes such in tailgates replaced with cheap plastic inserts that are unsafe in crashes, shake, rattle and can leak water. 2. The fired CEO laid off 40,000 employees at the same time increased assembly output with less workers and relocated key USA assembly plants to Mexico. The net results are unacceptable bad quality assemblies, cheap parts that fail, shake, rattle, leak water and air, etc. 3. The final proverbial “nail in the coffin”, the fired CEO required major unjustifiable MSRP price increases for unacceptable poor quality vehicles on all levels leading to record high dealer inventories at Ram, Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler: No one wants to purchase overpriced garbage 🚮.
