Paul I’m excited for when you get the ‘25 Ram and you put it through its paces. Hoping they did their homework and we have a good towing vehicle again

At 6’8 and 350 pounds I have never had a problem hitting my knees on anything in the Ram HD trucks or feeling the cab was to small and cramped. I don’t even have the mega cab. So for a 6’2” guy at 250 pounds to say the cab is to small is pretty funny to me.

won’t convince me to get a ram over a ford. buddy troubled around with his Rams for years, finally switched to ford in 19 and is currently running 5 of them. nothing but good things to say about them. does landscaping and tows a lot.

Too bad for you. 11 to 14 powerchoke is as bad as a 6.4. turbo is garbage til 15. 10 speeds are trash not reliable. Cp4 lol😅 have fun.

My right knee was always jammed against the dash in my last ram. Right where the 4x4 select button was. The celling was too low. But other than those 2 complaints it was a comfortable ride.

They needed the bigger cabs from the 1500, they cheaped out on the redesign and demand more money for it. Ram used to be the cheapest of the big 3 so it was a good deal. Now they are right up there with Ford trying to be the most expensive.

I like what Rams doing but I’d be extremely nervous buying the first year of a completely new powertrain. Especially having a 24 Ford that you’re overall happy with and 2 model years under its belt.
@cwg199817 күн бұрын
Doesn’t matter how long you wait the 2019-25 ram engines still suck it’s either gonna be good or it’s gonna be bad

@ How do you know the 25 will suck when it’s not been released.

@ you don’t know , you buy it and if it becomes a turd , lemon law it and dealer buys it back that’s what i did with the 2019 ram 3500 i had lifters and cp4 went out before 40k miles sat in the shop 9 months so i won’t buy a ram newer then 2018
@redtitan2917 күн бұрын
@@cwg1998 You hear the same horror stories with every brand. There’s usually a ton of updates the first model year once units get out on the road which is why I wait until 2 full years of production.

I’ve got a 19 cab and chassis Cummins 3500. It dropped a valve and needs a new engine. Chrysler is not standing behind there product . We have a lawsuit pending

I love my 4th generation. Except for some electrical issues. Cp3 and bigger turbo and tune. Makes a big difference I wish I had an Allison.
@pauldiesel458218 күн бұрын
The HD trucks were scheduled for a complete cab refresh shortly after the 1500 was done years ago. Now the 1500 is headed to GEN 6 and the HD is still stuck at GEN 4.5 . So the HDs are still soldiering on with the cramped cab that the competition doesn’t have. RAM at one point was ready to take second place after Ford from GM. Now they are just #2.

Yeah its a little noisy but it holds 30k towing capacity. Most dual disk clutches will make noise. The g56 has gear rollover with the clutch but I run amsoil mtg and it shifts awesome and isn't terrible sound wise in my opinion
