I'm guessing your impressions in the seat are better than watching the centerline in your side rear view, when you were saying it was on the line....it didn't look that way in the mirror. I guess just perspective from the mirror not matching your in-person impression.

The side mirror in only showing behind the vehicle at this angle. I pulled up the camera to show that the tire was only about 1 ft. from the center line. It was about 4 ft. from the line on the side of the road. Definitely hugging the center line. Not a big deal unless you consider vehicles in the other lane.

I am trying to understand why every single car company wants to develop their own system? They are not going to make any money on it. If I was ram, I would had made a deal with tesla, get the electronics, and just keep the rest business as usual. Is like every company making their own phone. its stupid. This system does not even start to compare to the Tesla fsd.

Most actually use the same system. Brands are paying the same company to develop or provide features.. you'll notice the symbols are the same

I love the Tungsten and have driven the GMC Sierra Ultimate Denali, and its hands-free system is better.

It only works on highways? You can’t use this in your suburb like a Tesla?

Here’s my thing about hands free driving or AI driving, for now. As a former insurance adjuster, the operator of the vehicle is solely responsible for due regard and the safe operation of the vehicle. You can’t blame the computer in your car for your crash. Not to mention you will be cited for distracted driving, since you’re not driving and any other associated citations due to an accident. This may be the “crawl” part of automated driving of the future and someday no one will drive themselves any longer. That being said, the future is promising.
