It's important to get a diagnosis from a professional, since we amateurs are likely to get things wrong. But self-research and self-diagnosis is still useful for exploring yourself, and helping the professional to know which questions to ask. Self-studying psychology has been really useful for me. Both for understanding myself and others.

Hearting comments is a nice way to acknowledge comments you like, rapidly, without having to think of and spend time writing a reply. I too like the videos as they are - without editing, without scripts (bullet points might be okay though). When reflecting on past events, I've found that intent provides a powerful context. I've heard others discuss how breathing issues, often completely unnoticed by a person, can cause sleep issues such as sleep apnea and insomnia. Have you ever considered participating in a sleep study (MRI)? Would I trust you? No, at least not yet, but I still desire to hear you out and listen to your stories. I look forward to your future videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to post all that you have so far - they have already helped more than just yourself 🙂

Yeah, deep discussions are the best. Other peoples stories and and experiences in life etc. are what makes them interesting. Happy new year from the other side of the border (finland)!

I heard a wise man saying: - We have a million little choices everyday. Deliberation/mindfulness of everyday choices... ...What are you immersed in? When a teabag is steeped in water, tea happens. ...And I am forever steeping myself in different situations. That's why I woke up with hope and joy in the morning...

I think there's no point in living in the past and blaming ourselves for mistakes we made back then. At that time, we were simply the best version of ourselves we could be. From today's perspective, we might feel anger toward the events that happened to us. We might not understand or even feel ashamed of our own actions. But ironically, it's thanks to those experiences that we now have the chance to grow as individuals, to explore our inner selves and our minds. Emma, be gentle and understanding with yourself. Right now, you're focusing on the most important thing a person can do in this life. On the conscious observation of the mind and getting to know yourself. You're doing a great job!

New year, new adventures :D ... I hope your year will be filled with growth and realizations. I love your curiosity and will to explore and implement changes. I think that my curiosity is what kept me alive and evolving 🤭 Maybe you already do this but... You said that be able to see yourself when recording helps with body language... Yes, it does :) But Do you record yourself and watch back? When you see yourself "live", your mind work overtime to analyze and correct all little details. You move your focus from yourself to the reflection of yourself... in a meta way. And since there are inherent delays in digital media... your mind work twice as hard to adjust to the delays in the adjustments. I've been recorded by my therapist... many times. Then we watched back and commented. For me, speech and walk have been something people remarked on, made me feel bad on. So by connecting what you THINK your doing to seeing what your ACCTUALLY are doing is such great help for your mind :). Keep being curious and open for ideas. Im not saying that it's not good to do live feedback... im just recommending to also record yourself, experiment in a "safe" context to define yourself, might be surprised by what you find :) I will try to keep it short next time ^^. Have a lovely day and good luck // Frankie

I'm glad you're doing this for yourself. One of the things that helped me out from my issues has been a sampler from Elektron called the Digitakt. It helped me focus on very dialed in aspects of the music i want to create which leads to the end product that i can come back to and listen to at any time, remembering the emotions and where i was at the time. Elektron is in Sweden as well so, there's that. Thank you for stepping into bettering yourself because we're all emoting ripples and better ripples emoted creates more peace for everyone else.

Jo, Emma… this is what happens 0:59 when you see a therapist…. You talk, they listen… so… and when I and many others listen to you… I personally hear that there nothing wrong with you or in your life… my opinion only… you are coming to terms with yourself I believe … which is a very good trait to have. Some people only get to this stage when they are older and turn into midlife crisis kinda people 😂…. So why not get this shit out of your system now and become your best friend and best person to yourself early to enjoy your life !? Also people start to get to know you through your sessions that’s why people reply. I don’t think it’s necessary to reply back or don’t response at all but it’s nice to know that you are reading the comments. Thank you and enjoy your journey…25 is an interesting age… I changed countries and learned a new language from scratch at 25 and thought WTF am I doing 🥳🥳✌🏼but no regrets only experience and knowledge which is good

Ηappy new year Εmma. The unedited format is one of the things that I find enjoyable in your videos. As you said you can see your self better this way, but also we get to know you better too, while we are taking a closer look of your body language AND the way you pause to think. Just like in a normal conversation. That’s what people do when they are trying to communicate in a deeper level. So for statistical purpose my take is… keep doing what you‘re doing until you find a new huge red button to press.

Happy new year Emma! I will just add to my previous computer related comment that you should still be able to upgrade to at least Windows 10 for free on your Windows 7 machine if you must use Windows and can't switch to Linux for whatever reason. Of which switching would be the better option for your older machine since Linux is faster and uses less system resources. But infact, both Windows 10 and 11 are free to upgrade to. If for whatever reason you can't activate either newer Windows after installing, you can still use either Windows 10 or 11 for free forever, but you just can't customise them like change the background wallpaper and such if either are left unactivated. You can just download the Windows 10 ISO from the Microsoft website. Double click it to mount it, open it and run its setup file. Probably a good idea to create a system restore point before you do if you go ahead with upgrading tho incase anything goes wrong. Some video editing software works across Windows and Linux such as KdenLive and DaVinci Resolve. So if you ever did want to get in to editing, you can start getting used to them on Windows first and continue where you left off on Linux if you want to.

You can spend some of your free time on self-education. You can study at your own pace, and worry about formal certification later. Something useful for your future career is good, but you can also just go for something that is interesting to you. Or you can go for something you missed out on in school.

Since it's mostly about the self meditation usually works best. Then after a while just go out and meet people. Remember people are not all at the same level but through our interactions we can help each other to grow. Your videos help others find clarity in their own failings. The cool thing is no one is under any obligation to be the same person they were 5 seconds ago. By reading them you learn more about your environment. Think of this as an information sharing network. The internet provided me the one that learned to communicate by purposefully going from homeless to well off to with goths to with jocks I learned of criminals and saints. So when I see a person struggling I throw out a life saver for those that gather in this agora or market place. Like Socrates. A gad fly. So for me it's another marketplace or agora. Shinzen young says alot in evolution and integration and a path to true spirituality two videos the old man made.

You are not a bad person, you are programmed in a different way.. you are probably a lot mote philosophical than you think you are; you are trying to figure out “why the world is”.. of course a lot of people think of this, but you think more about it as the average person, down to existence..you are on a path to your own enlightenment..look in Pan Psychism..it sounds very metaphorical, but it’s really just a way to look at the structure of reality without deep diving into spiritual per se

@davidrichards98982 күн бұрын
This is far too long and probably boring and I hope it does not cause you a headache. Nothing you are doing is pointless or humiliating. ADHD can lead to a degree of masking. If you are autistic this is almost certainly happening. Your mask grows away from the real you as you fight to complete things, keep everyone happy etc. Eventually you struggle to recognize who you are. This results in a great deal of confusion and shame and some of your references about yourself seem to concern this shame. But it doesn't have to be named. Find the real you. If you have not researched ADHD intensively I encourage you to do this. Not just the external traits but the "whys". Why are you impulsive. Why can you not finish things etc. Its not just dopamine or lack thereof. I literally don't start things because I am terrified I cannot finish them. Like someone swimming the english channel thinking constantly the further I go the further it is for me to save myself. Until halfway. In my opinion the key concept of adhd is to create a safe, but enjoyable space where one can find ones sense of self. Where the inner you matches what you see when you look inward at yourself. It won't fix past mistakes. You will still have guilt for acts you have done. But your shame will reduce significantly. With autism the goal is the same. When you mould these 2 "yous" and they are thinking and acting in concert, shame slides away. Because most of your shame is not what you've done. But what you don't do. Things no one else knows about that you don't do, dozens of times a day. And you are keeping count and your shame continues piling. And the world does not even know that shame creating actions are punishing you internally all day long. Going out in public. Making friends. Treating others better. Once you understand you, some of these things, like socializing if autistic, may be far less important to you. You will appreciate alone time and not be lonely. Or feel judged for being alone. Or you may find the strength to train that exciting adhd streak to expand your social activity. I have dug much deeper into autism so this may be of no help to you but I feel its key. For me the most vital thing for every human is acceptance. But for autists we have to understand ourselves, others and be understood before we can hope to feel accepted. You are obviously a wonderful person who knows your faults and tries extremely hard to fix where you see yourself failing. What if you are aiming at the wrong goalposts. What if its not you who is wrong but your understanding of you. What if your actions are a tiny bit of the fix and the big fix is in understanding you I think you know you are a good person. You just see or imagine others viewing you as a bad person. They probably aren't. They may be confused not angry. And the few times you do bad things you do them to protect yourself. With a neurodivergent amygdala you are probably extremely sensitive so its natural so much can hurt and its easy to make hurtful responses when your mind is struggling to be safe. Safety, understanding and acceptance. Neurodivergent people usually need these more than anything else. Not least because we dont fit in. So ask yoursel why don't I feel safe. Why can't I understand. And will I ever be accepted. You will once you understand and accept yourself.

Hello again Emma from Sweden. You look suspiciously happy and smiley today, 2025 treating you well? The biggest thing I can't stand about your videos is you wasting your precious youth stuck alone in a box. But I will be here waiting for that "Escaping Isolation Part 1" episode where you actually start living your life. For now however, I have to refer to you as a useless little angel. When are we getting a gym workout video? And yes, I'm calling you out on hiding that fine physique of yours, stop hiding it. I know you have anxiety issues but when you said "Everybody can see these videos" at 13:50 and your eyes started twitching and your brain running through a million things I felt bad for you. Have you found any things that relax you out of your anxiety? And what are these deep discussions you always seem to get into? Ever going to talk about your interests in a video? I guess I can support you and give you a little like 👍 But you Emma, please stop pressing all the buttons, especially the big red ones 🚨
