Love my 21’ DURAMAX! 72,000 miles, and not a single issue! These trucks are solid. I do like the TB package on that radiant red tint coat though, not gonna lie. But I bought my truck before COVID, and she was paid for a long time ago, I think I’ll keep mine 😊

I never knew they had the 3.0, I think it would be limited by the chassis anyways. The 2.7 turbo 4 cyl HO is a good engine in my opinion, I had it in a sierra 1500 pro, there was no lack of power and it could tow 10k

@@kix5457The Colorados never came with the 3.0 i6. Theoretically it could fit the new ones because they’re just straight up Silverados with a smaller chassis. But the engine bay definitely isn’t big enough for a long i6 engine that also weighs more and is generally bigger than the 6.2 v8. They had a smaller European 2.8 4 cylinder that was in a bunch of Chrysler products. It’s nothing special and was gutless and wouldn’t you know nobody bought one

I think a lot of modern diesel trucks have a lot of expensive issues regarding their emissions systems. People absolutely abhor them so they rip them out which is technically illegal but no one cares. At least hear in California, diesel is notably more expensive than gasoline.

Idk why Ram and GM haven’t added any lane centering function to their HD truck (not the one that ping pongs you in between the lanes. I’m talking about the one that actively drives for you on the highway). A huge miss imo. I was strongly considering getting a ZR2 2500 HD because it looks so good, but then found it lacks the technology I want. Got a Ford truck instead. Come on GM…

I've been trying to buy a GMC Duramax 2500HD 4x4 single cab pro but even with low end trim and fewer bells and whistles the dealers I've tried making offers with have a death grip on their high sticker mark ups. I'll have to keep using my 27 year old truck a little longer but hey it works. 🤷‍♂

@nick2128 diesels are almost bullet proof, if someone is letting go of their diesel truck it may be because it was used and abused, toyed around with, had program tuners used on it, I've known people who has damaged the diesel engine in their truck then got rid of it. I would feel more comfortable with something new and untouched from the factory, pre-owned certified vehicles are not always worth the risk.
