I wish the Subaru Forester kept the actual grab handle on the doors rather than just a "hole" to grab to close the door! The 2018 was the last year model that came with the grab handles on the doors!!!

The front grill of the Forester has the same look as the Subaru Ascent so maybe Chevy copied Subaru but it is not likely that either of these companies copied the other since the designs are done long before the autos are introduced.

i initially hated it, but it's growing on me. i definitely want the wilderness which i hope changes that front end. thats what i hate most is the front end, but i have hopes the wilderness will be different

Some people are going to like the change and some people just hate change in general. Especially when you’re looking at a function over form car company like Subaru. I, for one, like the design. I have a 2020 Forester and felt like the design was started to get more and more dated looking. Thankfully this looks more modern.

I do like the exterior design. But they’ve gone the Honda route with more of a luxury look. Subarus are meant for like the off roady capable and looking and this doesn’t look like it… I hate how they kept the interior classic in the parts you don’t want it but put a screen in also the parts you don’t want it

Holy piano gloss vomit, batman! I'm happy to hear about the hybrid to augment their fuel economy numbers, but anything with piano gloss trash on touch points is a hard pass. Or if its plastered all over the dashboard. And that screen... yuck. But I suppose the normies will suck it up now, because it's big and shiny. And then complain in some years when something breaks, and the cost to repair/replace almost totals out the vehicle entirely. A bit like insurance companies refusing to cover things with panoramic roof tops in my country.

I get only 20mpg on my 19 Forester Touring. The 2025 Forester LOST 2 horsepower and is Down to 180.

the single exhaust on these drives me batty. cars should have dual exhaust for symmetry if nothing else. !! I just bought a Lexus GX 460...SINGLE EXHAUST....arggggg. Love your videos man! That honda has the worst looking wheels.

I’m sick and tired of Gloomy Grey and Boring Black interior colors. That’s why I bought the Touring, so I could get the saddle brown leather interior. Gloomy Gray and Boring Black became popular in 1990. That was 34 years ago 🤮

I don't like the redesign. Nothing stands out as different than the Equinox, Sportage, Explorer, etc. It's an also-ran for me. It looks less like it belongs in a forest and more like a luxury cruiser.

My 19 Forester Touring has only 15K miles on it. A week after I bought it, I started complaining about several things that needed fixing. I had taken into the dealership many many many times trying to get the oil Biden light to stop flickering, the rear hatch opening at random, my Forester unlocks itself, the facial recognition works about 1/2 the time, the remote start didn’t work, the transmission slips, the list goes on and on. So for 3 years Subaru couldn’t find out Anything wrong with my Forester until 3 days After the warranty expired. Then they discovered that the DCM in the computer was bad, so since it was out of warranty, I had to pay $1,600 to get it fixed. But that didn’t fix the problem. It’s on its 3rd battery as well. Over the last 7 weeks it has been in the shop with the exception of having it home only 10 days. This is why my 2019 Forester Touring has only 15K miles. It’s in the damn shop all of the time. This is my First Subaru and it will definitely be my LAST SUBARU ! As far as I’m concerned, Subaru can go 🖕🏽Themselves

I own a 2023 Forester Wilderness with all the bells and whistles. I do NOT like the interior or exterior design of the 2025. I thought Subaru had their own signature look and now they just look like everything else out there. Not a fan of everything migrating into the infotainment center. The digital rear view mirror is cool on paper but it's just one more piece of electronics that can malfunction. I would have preferred they overhauled the infotainment center with a new UI and refinement. I don't like the tail lights, the glossy front grill, the front design, or the wheel rims. What's with the crack down the middle of the front seats? Ugh? The 2019 - 2024 models look so much better. What did you do, Subaru?
