I’m probably gonna to wait for normal version not launch series. Refresh model 3 was priced at 61k when it released and now 54k I believe after waiting few months the price will be reduced under 60k when normal version is available esp the huge competition with other EVs as well.

I think if you don't really want the launch series stuff and care more about money saving - then it's definitely better to just wait for the "normal" one. I agree with all your points - hoping the price comes crashing down :D

there are more speakers in the long range version + subwoofer. Same as LR model 3 HL. I believe that’s why the detail this in the photo.

Sounds like that might be the most accurate. Potentially no difference in “looks” but just no speakers inside certain areas.

They included 20” so that they can increase margins for those really eager to buy. In China there is the option to go 19”. Disappointing that it’s not an option in Aus so I think it’s worth waiting. You get much better range for the 19” and I personally think they look better

I think the 20” is just because of launch series. Doesn’t make sense to make it 20” on a family SUV as standard.

I didn't buy a model Y last year because of the harsh suspension and the absolute barren look inside. Would I reconsider now. Well the suspension may be acceptable now and they haven't taken away the indicator stalk but even with the upgrade interior features it is still a barren look compared to many other EV's. Also with the plethora of other Chinese brands coming to Australia in the next 12 months or so I think it's even harder now to choose a Tesla. I feel Tesla are trying to catch up with the Chinese on their best aspects but just not making it in many ways. Tesla is still the king for technology, drive train and efficiency though and this may keep them on top.

Don’t forget that they have the advantage on trip planning/charging infrastructure when on the go too. Have you considered the Xpeng G6 or any other cars?

Hi Roland Are you able to do a video session on charging a Tesla at the Tesla charger stations. I am and I am sure lots of others considering purchasing an EV are a little confused as to charge rates at differing Tesla charge stations for the Tesla current Model Y / Model 3. Eg can you get 250kw charge speed at any Tesla Charge Station for a Tesla. Andrew

Hi Andrew. Noted! Out of curiosity, what brands are you looking into?
