The 2025 Toyota 4Runner is built on Toyota's tough TNGA-F global truck platform, shared with iconic models like the Tacoma and Land Cruiser. This platform, featuring a high-strength boxed steel-ladder frame, multi-link coil rear, and double wishbone front suspension, enhances both strength and ride comfort. The vehicle's powerful i-FORCE MAX powertrain, available in hybrid and standard configurations, delivers up to 326 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most potent 4Runner ever offered.
Bold Design and Advanced Technology:
Drawing inspiration from Baja desert racing, the 2025 4Runner boasts a lean body, big tires, and rugged athleticism that define its go-anywhere purpose. The design pays homage to earlier generations while incorporating modern elements like the new 8-inch or available 14-inch multimedia touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. Advanced safety features, including Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, ensure peace of mind on and off the road.
Expanded Trim Levels for Every Adventure:
The 2025 4Runner lineup offers nine distinct grades, including the new Trailhunter and Platinum models. The Trailhunter grade, designed for serious off-road enthusiasts, features enhancements like ARB's Old Man Emu (OME) 2.5-inch forged shocks, a uniquely co-designed ARB Roof Rack, and rugged exterior elements for maximum adventure capability. The Platinum grade combines luxury and capability, adding premium amenities like a Head-Up Display and automatic rain-sensing wipers.
Beyond Zero Vision:
As part of Toyota's commitment to a carbon-neutral future, the 2025 4Runner Hybrid joins the Beyond Zero lineup, offering customers an eco-friendly option without compromising performance or capability. With Toyota's diverse portfolio of electrified vehicles, including hybrids, plug-in hybrids, battery electric vehicles, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, customers have more choices than ever to reduce their carbon footprint.
Availability, Warranty and Pricing:
The 2025 Toyota 4Runner will be built at Toyota Motor Corporation's Tahara plant in Japan and is set to arrive in the U.S. in the fall of 2024. It comes with Toyota's standard warranties, including a 36-month/36,000-mile basic new-vehicle warranty, 60-month powertrain warranty, and hybrid-specific warranties for peace of mind and confidence in every adventure. Pricing information has not yet been released.
