2025 Volvo XC90 vs Mazda CX-80: Luxury, Technology, and Performance Compared

I own an XC 90, and very pleased with it over 7 years of ownership. I have my eye on the Mazda diesel variant as I tow a caravan. I have had no issues with the Volvo and would like to know about Mazdas reliability record. Does anyone here have experience of Mazdas? I’m currently waiting contact from Mazda when a car is available to test drive.

MAZDA CX80 for its reliability of course. Own a XC90 for a year now and visited service garage for like 5 or 6 times, garantee issues all the time.

The XC90 in the UK has electric range on on 44 miles so not too far from CX80. Are you sure the electric range of 70 miles you mention is accurate?

@HansieA cx80 range is 38 whereas xc90 is 42 hope this helps

There is a few wrong Information in this Video. For example the length of the Mazda is Not 4,80 meters but 4,99. The Diesel has no Electric Range, the Mazda hybrid is a 4 cylinder gasoline engine.

The Mazda is actually longer than the Volvo. Your dimensions are wrong.
