Mazda has unveiled the all-new 2026 Mazda MX-5 Miata 35th Anniversary Edition, a celebration of the iconic roadster's legacy. This limited-edition model boasts a stunning Artisan Red Metallic finish, the latest addition to Mazda’s advanced Takuminuri paint technology. This three-layer paint process ensures a rich, dynamic appearance that complements the car’s beige soft top and tan interior.
The exterior features bright 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler painted to match the body, and 35th Anniversary serialized badging on the rear fender. The interior continues the premium feel, with tan Nappa leather seats proudly embossed with the 35th Anniversary logo on the headrests. Matching Artisan Red accents on the air conditioning vents and upper door panels tie the look together. Mazda has equipped this special edition with heated seats, automatic climate control, a Bose premium audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa Built-in, and navigation on an 8.8-inch display for modern convenience.
Under the hood, the MX-5 Miata 35th Anniversary Edition keeps the spirit alive with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 181 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Performance enhancements include an asymmetric limited-slip differential, shock tower bracing, and sport-tuned Bilstein dampers, ensuring a thrilling driving experience.
Priced at $36,250, with an additional $1,185 destination and handling fee, this edition carries a $1,620 premium over the manual Grand Touring trim. However, exclusivity comes with a catch-Mazda is producing only 300 units of this special edition, making it one of the rarest Miatas available in the United States.
Each vehicle will come with a bespoke leather-wrapped key fob and promises an exclusive ownership experience. The 2026 MX-5 Miata 35th Anniversary Edition not only honors its heritage but also offers enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of automotive history.
