Makinde and other G5 do not want Atiku to succeed Buhari, because 2 of them are Fulani man, and because of how Fulani people behave during PMB era, they knew its not a fair thing to support another fulani man. It will emboldened fulani to continue in their rubbish, and Atiku may not be able to stop them. Thats the mission of G5. Makinde himself raise a lot of questions about Tinubu especially about his age, and health. I received his newsletter where he address this issue that he doesnt believe people of tha age should be people choice again. Even, when He visited Makinde in Ibadan, he never gave Tinubu any assurance that he will support him, he only told Tinubu, our people deserve the best.

@vincentakinyele2490 You're right my brother. I dont hate Makinde. I viewed him as part of the future of Nigeria but now I question his intentions. I really don't know if he can be trusted. Also beside basic road construction what has he done for Ibadan or for that matter Oyo state? He dresses well and gives eloquent speeches, but what else is he doing for the state? Where are the investments? Where are the public schools,? Where is the public transport like Lagos. In his second term, what is his strategy for Oyo? Anyhow, I'm disappointed that he joined Wike's G5 which was formed for the sole purpose of rigging Rivers State and other states in favour of Tinubu. G5 was also formed to block Atiku and Peter Obi presidential campaigns in favour of Tinubu. Makinde did indeed turn a blind eye which is very disappointing but sometimes you have to do terrible things in politics I suppose. I assume he was above these things. I don't care who and from which tribe becomes president of Nigeria as long as the person is good and can turn Nigeria around for the better. I can no longer say for sure that Makinde is this good person... A Yoruba man is in power and all we have is starvation and insecurity! What has Tinubu done for Nigeria , moreove for the Yorubas,...exactly nothing! Like all other wealthy politicians and elites in Nigeria, it is unclear how Makinde became a multi millionaire in dollars. Will we hear stories about him in the future? He is not working for Tinubu or Wike, you people should make some fundings, know why someone make a decision at one point of the other. Makinde didn't follow Wike styles of fanatism or politics of greediness, those of us living in Oyo state know that, because he did not do that since he enter politics and now going to 6 years as a governor. But, as he is, he is a prominent PDP governor in SW now (PDP SW leader by position), Wike is prominent in SS. So, he cannot discard Wike. Another thing is that ,Makinde wife is from Rivers state, so he can't ever come openly against Wike because Wike is like an in-law to him, so, even if he doesn't like what he is doing, he can't come out to tell you guys. As for 2023, he never supported Tinubu either, he made sure no rigging was done im favor of anybody in 2023 election in all the elections. Him and G5 never want Atiku, because Atiku is a fulani man who want to succeed PMB who is also a fulani man So if you're in Makinde shoe, how will you play your game in the mist of those circumstances yet you dont want to be a friend or enemy to any of these people.
