Hi Ian, Nice project. May I suggest next you drill the holes for the nylon ties, drill them a little less spacing so the nylon tie hugs the cane. Should prevent that movement. Stay safe. 73 WJ3U

Nice job with your beam. I watched all three parts of your video. I saw when you were comparing it to another dipole that you were only seeing about one s unit of difference. What's the other dipole vertically or horizontally polarized? Just curious why you didn't see a bigger difference. Thanks again for the video as I am building a 20 M dipole beam myself

Thanks. Yes the dipole was horizontal. The reason was the lack of height on my temporary mast. A higher mast will give far better performance I believe 👍🏻 Have fun 😁
