I can barely do a tuck planche last year. But now, I am doing pushups in that position as if it was I am sleeping. Thank you very much for your videos! right now I am training the advanced tuck-straddle planche with bands. I am basically following your program. Can't wait to see myself 1-2 years from now.

I'm still stuck in tuck planche any tips that get you to tuck?
@princealjohnmogatas6226 Жыл бұрын
@@yassine3978 just do it with the bands and gradually decrease the resistance. before that, you need to have a strong fundamentals first like pushups and dips

I quit training planche about a year ago after trying to get to tuck for over a year. I saw your "21 reasons video" and my APT was going against my training... it's something I struggled with my whole life and could never fix it. So I quit, I spent the next 7-9 months doing general bodybuilding with calisthenics and weights including legs + dynamic handstand progressions & conditioning with chest to wall or a box. I gained about 17 lbs in weight. Out of curiosity I tried doing tuck planche but I ended up pulling off a straddle with knees bent! On the floor too! It felt so light and effortless. But I couldn't control the balance/form for long and held it for 2-3 seconds. This is something I was never close to. I think I might pursue planche again. I think it might be best to keep my current programming because traditional planche training has not worked for me at all.

How did you try to fix the APT? I had the same thing for years, but was able to fix it after using some strengthening exercises and specific stretches
@dudejoe8390 Жыл бұрын
@@TheJackedVegan I don't believe I fixed it. I "counter" trained the musclucular imbalances involved with APT so that I can at least actively contract against it. I'm able to realign my tilt temporarily when doing things like hollow body. The exercises that helped me the most are hinge movements like Deadlifts and one exercise I do for handstand prep. Not sure what's it called but my coach makes do a warmup for handstands: hollow body on the floor with my arms stretched out pressing against the wall like an overhead press. He tells me to actively look at the space between my hands at all times, so that I extend the neck. I'm not too familiar with the biomechanics, but in my experience it seems like a large portion of the APT is related to weakness to in my shoulder posture. Because when I push against the wall, I feel relief from tightness near my hip and can actually get my lower back to touch the floor in a hollow body. I'm strong enough now to do this without pressing the wall, but I still use this technique. While in this position I do 2 sets of 4 reps of various leg positions like you would do in a handstand or planche (Ex: tuck to straddle/split, tuck to single leg extension). Let me know if you have any questions. Also I stopped doing situps going all the way up/down. It seems to have the opposite effect of that wall drill I mentioned earlier.

I want to know in calisthenics some people natty or steroids because want to know limit for build muscle in calisthenics 😊thanks
@patruff4 ай бұрын
I would be willing to bet that they all are natty. Testosterone is usually something people use for volume, hypertrophy, etc. whereas calisthenics is a lot of ligament strength that you can't just rush to it takes months or years to safely and slowly build up. It's not like "hit me up with some T bro, let's pump some shoulder ligaments broooooooo"

I’d definitely disagree, most people that train cali are younger, leaner than most and are so passionate many overtrain by training skills everyday or spamming sets
