"Reasons Why Your (muscle group) Won't Grow" is the series which got me hooked on all of John's content. Then there's Meadows Rows which I've been doing for many years before I knew who John was. Such a legend in the bodybuilding world who will truly be missed, but ultimately will live on in spirit.

Not many people at my gym train to failure, besides the few people that are absolutely jacked lol. A lot of people look at me weird when I’m struggling with my last rep, or pushing out 10 half reps at the end of my sets. But it’s pretty impressive how much muscle I’ve put on using these techniques as a natural, and I’ve worked out a few different times in my life, sports in high school, weightlifting in my early 20’s. But with using a lot of bodybuilding and Meadows’s techniques I’ve been able to actually see really great muscle gain at 27. Rip John 🙏🏼 Gone but never forgotten.

I used to train full body or upper/lower all the time. Then I realized my arms were lagging so I changed it up to chest/back, shoulders/arms and a leg day. Using a lot of direct arm work 💪🏽💪🏽

I do the exact same routine and people call me weird. "One muscle group a day" or "why are you doing big muscle groups like chest and back on the same day"
@jessevandijk75242 жыл бұрын
@@tombstonereloaded haha happens to me quite a lot too! Especially chest and back gets people frowning.... I think upper lower is great starting out and then change to a routine to specialize a bit more on weaker muscle groups. I love the focus I have on my arms with the shoulders and arms day, I think arm volume is the only real weakness in an upper lower split.
@tombstonereloaded2 жыл бұрын
@@jessevandijk7524 i agree, i also see people do upper lower splits and theyre there for over an hour, but theyre on their phone forever and then act like they got a workout before they go to the next exercise
