I just think “I am God” is incorrect - I don’t think I am God, I didn’t create you, me, the universe - I didn’t build even a brick of my house for a start! The idea that we are God will end up feeding people’s ego - which is completely opposite to Jesus’s teachings including the golden rule. Jesus said “you are gods, children of the Most High” - lower case g. Meaning divine beings, God’s (the Father’s) children. Jesus never said we are God as in the Most High. The lecture is extremely good, and I believe 95-99 percent spot on. But we are not God, we are His children.

I went to the "Pastor" at the end of the service and stated my case against such stupidity... only to be told that he really didn't mean it that way, however we are all nothing in the eyes of God. I was absolutely floored! What a double minded response! I quickly decided that my children would "NOT" be subjected to such ignorance and I left. Best decision I made for our family! My advice is to stay away from this trap. Stick with the allegorical meanings of the bible, it will take you far! Thanks Bill.
