It's always the task that gathers everyone together after a big group meal, lots of conversation, impromptu dances, great laughs. I use to work with Kitchen Aid and the biggest tip I got for running my dishwasher was to run your hot water in the sink before starting your dishwasher. This allows the water in the prewash cycle to actually be hot. Which helps lead to cleaner dishes. Also, if you're using pods, just place the pod directly into the bottom of the dishwasher instead of the soap department. This allows the pods casing to start dissolving in the prewash cycle and be ready to go during the washing cycles.

Hack about soaking pots!! After cooking & can't get that food out from the bottom of the pan, instead of soaking it... fill it up with water & salt. Put it on the stove, cover it & bringit to a boil. It'll be soooo much easier than scrubbing! Sometimes you can even skip the salt. Just let it boil!

My #1 tip for easy dish cleaning is this: I spray the dirty dishes with a mix of water and dish soap. It's like a light version of soaking. I leave the spray on for a few minutes (or hours depending on when I get to doing the dishes) and the spray takes care of most of the work for me! A few light swipes and the dishes a clean - such a time saver!
@griseldaguerrero71994 жыл бұрын
Great tips. I've been implementing washing my own dishes as I cook, it makes a huge difference. We dont own a dishwasher so I also like to remove the scorched burned food from the pans with a scraper, then I wipe them down with paper towels and I soak them overnight in a paste of baking soda and water. The following day, the mess comes out effortlessly.

Some clothes like jeans or bras that don’t need washing everyday become mess piles in the bedroom. Love your tips! For those who like to use a sponge, I buy the dollar tree cheap yellow with a rough green top type, cut them into 4 smaller, easier to handle sponges, using a regular scissors, and every so often put them in a small disposable container, or what have you, that I keep under the sink with a bottle of hydrogen peroxide, and pour just enough hydrogen peroxide over it to soak in for 10 minutes or so, to kill anything, bacteria or mildew, that might grow in it. If the container is just the right size, you won't have to use much HP.
