#22 DIY Improvements to my House in Portugal: Getting there bit by bit

In this video I take on several smaller jobs around the house and land. The warmer weather is upon us here which makes it harder to work outside for large parts of the day, but if we are not working outside there is plenty of other work to be done inside.

I hope I have! It will be rendered with a thickness of 3-6mm. I've allowed up to 10mm. At that point it will be too late to change them...

We use a hose with running water almost like a jet spray to help remove blockages. Might want to get a pipe snake to help. Maybe put a screen mesh on the open end of the pipe to avoid debris getting in and clogging it up again.

Your pipes problem reminds me of "Villa Oliva" guy; he spent lot of time try to find where water goes and which ways it takes... To do that, he used a lot a endoscope camera; maybe you could hire one?

Isso é um tanque de rega. A saida de água do tubo deve ser para algum canal de rega antigo do terreno. A água do poço é veia de água ou mina. Nessa região há bastante água a pouca profundidade, não existem cisternas para armazenar água da chuva.

Obrigado, sim, eu sei que o tanque é para irrigação. Apercebi-me que o tubo não iria para o poço porque a água poderia estar contaminada e, portanto, também contaminaria a água do poço.

Typical woman Michael, Mila waits until you did all the hard work and then plonks herself down on sofa 😂, my wife is same 😉. Rome wasn’t built in a day and tbh still isn’t finished , hope that doesn’t bode unwell for you 😂, main thing is your doing stuff Michael when I am sure you would rather just sit on that sofa, yep frustrating those type of plastic pipes 😂👌🏻, chin up and keep at it , take care.
