I own several Henry Rimfire rifles, including the 22WMR. Also have several centerfire Henrys. I just took the plunge and bought an engraved, Orginal Henry in 44-40. Love my Henry rifles, every single one of them. My safe is getting full, so please hold off on any new models for a spell.

17 hmr very nice gun but fouling and projectile gets pushed back in case and jams up. Tried every 17hmr round there is. At least 5x out of 50 jam up

I’m getting a H001 in .22WMR and it’s going to be my main turkey gun. .22WMR CCI Gamepoint is one of the most well rounded rounds I’ve ever used. Great performance out of revolvers and rifles, good expansion and great penetration. I’ve seen several coyotes taken with lung shots from these and they don’t run far.

Love my .22 WMR, shoot it at least once a week. Took the 'standard' (H001M), added the larger loop, a pic rail with a red dot (Burris Fast Fire 3) and swapped out the standard butt stock with the Express stock. 😎

Pretty sure T/C did a carbine in .460 S&W. Independent testing said the bullets were falling apart and accuracy suffered. Which is probably why there are not many .460 S&W Carbines

Well you should try the 17 Mach 2 made from the casing of the 22 Stinger and necked down to the 17 caliber velocity is 2100 fps.

They take the 22 magnum casing and neck it down to the 17HMR and same with the 17HM2 they take a 22 Stinger casing it's longer than a regular long rifle 22 casing. The 22 Stinger is the most powerful 22 bullet made you should see it necked down to the 17HM2/Mach 2. Velocity is 2100fps. Moving.

I bought a pump 22 mag..I thought it was the best I bought a vortex scope and leather acc. It was the most beautiful gun that I owned until I went to shoot it😢. It wouldn't fire..? I tried several times. It just wouldn't fire then I watched a video and the guy making it said his would fire randomly and only when he jammed the pump forward hard so I tried that and it fired but the next time it didn't..I got ahold of Henry. They said it had what they call a lite strike...I paid all that money for this beauty of a gun and it doesn't work right unless I send it to them... why didn't they make sure it worked before it left their warehouse?... all other manufacturers shoot their guns once before it leaves them.. what the hell?..I won't buy another henry that's for sure 0:02

I bought a golden boy in 22mag as an upgrade for my rossi bolt action! Kind of a gift for myself. I have been very disappointed in the Henry! It's a pretty rifle. Although it seems to be a single shot. It will not feed any of the 5 different manufacturers of ammunition i currently have. So i guess i got get ahold of Henry and arrange to send it back. Hopefully you guys can make it right without a long drawn out process!

Henry needs to go ahead and make a lever action 17 Mach 2 rifle. It's taking over the famous 22 long rifle. It surely out performs it 2100 fps talk about the best small game and varmint round. The 17 HM2/Mach 2 is really taking off. Wait a lil while longer and Henry will see how big of a demand it is for the 17 Mach 2.

The 17HMR is a round that can achieve some exceptional accuracy, especially for a rimfire cartridge. But NOT from a lever action... There are some affordable options available that are very accurate and around $300 -$500. Good luck finding a Henry for that price OR getting sub-MOA from a Henry. Don't get me wrong, I have 2 Henrys and I love them both (357 mag and 44 mag). But with these rimfire cartridges, you will get considerably better accuracy from a bolt action. We aren't exactly "plinking" with these rounds....

Thank you for whoever sent me a like for my comment it’s just wrong to put a scope on a lever action rifle they weren’t made to put scopes on if you want to scope a gun by a semi auto or a bolt action I do have to admit though I did upgrade my iron sites on my h001 to fiber optic but my octagon barrel 22 still has the good old buckhorn site and I can shoot the balls off of flea land 50 yd.³ with that lol 😂

Have decided to buy a Henry rimfire lever, have looked at several. Walmart, Dunhams and small shops. Quality control seems lacking. Tube magazines front loop was loose in three. Magazine tube had tight and loose spots when sliding out. Cannot justify $326.00 for what I saw. Try again someday, but ended up with a Stevens Minimalist bolt action in .22 mag.

My folks grew up on farms and had trouble with varmints killing their chickens and ducks. When you have spent a lot of time and money on raising poultry, only to have them slaughtered by wild animals, you learn quickly to defend their lives. It’s not sadism, but necessity.

The .22 Magnum would be adequate for coyotes with consideration for distance. Shoot a coyote from too far away and you’ll just have a wounded coyote. Bullet placement is important also.
