@@david_shih Not Sailing now, but time is just a factor everyone deals with at some point. Looking at projects in Florida from Kelowna. I was able to pay for my profession by grinding fiberglass, and rebuilding engines in 1985 to 1990. As I mentioned, I would help if I was ever in the same marina. I truly hope that could happen. The best I can offer this year, a good friend that i helped here in Canada will be passing through Panama Via Cartagena early January. He owes me a little, but I also owe him for an opportunity to connect as they cruise from Cartagena to Linton Bay.

@@david_shih Yrs and yrs ago my dad had to drive me 50 km to the national/annual boat show here in Norway. I was truly lost for hours climbing in and out of any shiny sailboat of any size that allowed a solo spunk like me onboard. My dad had absolutely no interest in boating and disappeared to other hunting grounds for the hours, and lucky for me I had plenty time for myself frantically picking up about every flyer with models and motors and electronics and stuff I could fit in my back pack. Not much was showed on the water, a lil weird as the show was located 100 yrds from a nice port. In recent yrs the whole event has moved to my own city and now I can literarily look across the river at the big complex. But I never go. Why? The sailboats are few and apart, and those they show are just tiny dingys or the same production plastic you see everywhere (Hanses, Jeanneaus, Dehlers). Nothing that sparks my interest anymore. Nor the people (besides, the whole complex is filled with diesel spewing power boats, wtf). However, seeing how much fun you guys had at Annapolis and how everybody seemed to interact (YTers, the visitors, sellers, crazy ppl, all), maybe I should book my flights for next year/as soon as travel is allowed: goto experience it all again and maybe go sailing in those Neotropical waters.

What I absolutely love about you is your attitude your so humble and the determination you have is awesome, but I guess you have to since your already into it 300,000.00 I agree the company's producing these Cats should be called out to fix the problem or they should get out of the business!!! People don't want to spend that much MONEY to find out later they have seriously huge problems with the design and assembly of there boat !!!!!!! By the way, Mary is your backbone and raising 4 children is exhausting and you are way better off than most of these U Tube channels. I follow most of these guys and enjoy their channels but I believe, in the future, your channel will out do a lot of them. I don't own any Apple products, so don't try to hook me up with an iPad case. David, you make great videos, so that's what you need to be doing, but the problem is that you need to finish the boat first. When the guy comes to sand the fiberglass, you need to get him before Colin does or else he will be too tired to work on your boat.
