Watching from Toronto!! My son is turning 5 in October and was born at 35 weeks. So if the amnio induced early labour, worry not because your baby probably won’t be in NICU too long. Mine was there for 11 days only because he needed to learn to suck and not be fed through a tube. And as an almost 5 year old, he practically INHALES food. Toddlers and very young children: they can be tough. They don’t have the language to express themselves properly so you have to figure out if being tires or having a tummy ache really means that or if it’s more because they want to get out of doing something or there are other issues going on at, say, school. They might say that so and so hit/scratched them (well, you might see that if it’s bad enough), but if it’s verbal/emotional bullying, that’s a different story. Like, they make fun of how they look or what they’re eating. Or they’re uncomfortable with doing things everyone else is. Maybe it’s because they can’t. And are worried it looks bad.
