Parameters are meaningful to the extent that they activate the motor setting, and it seems more accurate to do the exact numerical input in the ESC Setup part.

Also what what be the max battery amps for an Ownboard Carbon AT using stock battery of 10s4p. Probably not very strong, way less than 90amps? Guessing this part is important, as it could draw too much from battery, and damage battery?? Should I drop it?
@paulr35567 ай бұрын
Hello, awesome review n demo video as always. Quick question, how does reverse work? No having to click any of the two buttons first? Is it if you hold brakes on for a certain amount of time?, and how, does it know when motors are at full stop? Otherwise if you go down a hill and keep brakes on for that time frame, it will kick into reverse while you still going forward? And potentially throw you off? I plan to use this combo to replace Ownboard original carbon AT remote n ESC (It has newer ESC with remote with screen display.) It's a only a 10s board, so after setting ESC to 10s via remote, can I use the 60amp motor max and 120amp battery current max settings on the stock Ownboard battery?, or should I drop it to the 50A motor max n 100A battery current max? Thanks in advance.😊
@KAMiJUINs7 ай бұрын
Hello, thank you for watching my videos. In the case of reverse, if you keep pulling the remote throttle, the board will brake and then reverse according to the set reaction time for reverse operation. (It does not move backward immediately after stopping. You can set the interval seconds.) In the case of hills, it depends on the slope, but if the slope is large, you may not be able to reverse. If the slope is gentle, you will be able to move backward after stopping, but the backward speed will be slower than on flat ground. To determine the output amps of your ESC, you need to know the type of cells and configuration of the battery pack you are using. With that, you can find the maximum discharge rate and the amount of available current accordingly.

Hello~ :) The battery in the video is of 14S configuration. Changing the ESC settings from 10S to 12S is very simple. All you have to do is change the voltage in the remote settings.

Hey! I have the Omni TKP trucks as well. Would you recommend getting the Acedeck gear drive that you have fitted here over the Omni's own gear drive? The acedecks looks cooler tho but how about the fitment and clearance in real world use?
@KAMiJUINs2 ай бұрын
The free space was almost the same for both gear drives. The feeling of use was a bit softer and quieter for Acedeck. First of all, I recommend Acedeck's Gear Drive more. The reason is that if you ride for a long time, the gearbox generates a lot of heat like a motor, and Acedck's Gear Drive has a structure that can manage heat well.

-First, make sure all the wires are well connected. -And check the ESC type and control type in the settings of the VX4 remote. -If it still doesn't work, you should proceed with refaring. -If all of the above methods do not work either, use VESCtool to reset all settings. Hi, I remember a while back, you made a project using 2 10s batteries in parallel. With this product being able to handle 20s, would it make more sense to put the batteries in series for a 2 battery project? Would it make any difference for torque and speed?
@KAMiJUINs4 ай бұрын
If you configure it as a series 20s, the motor rotation speed increases according to the increased voltage, so you can increase both torque and top speed depending on how you configure the gear ratio. Also, if you configure it as a parallel 10s, you can use twice the discharge rate compared to the series. A setting with a high discharge rate is relatively advantageous for a setting that requires strong torque. (Since the discharge rate of lithium-ion cell batteries is relatively low, even if it is a 20s voltage, it is meaningless as 1P. And you need to check whether the motors you will use support the 20s voltage.)

Really interesting product at that price... It looks very similar to spintend vesc but flipsky just put its own software on top. Did u test it at full 100a per motor?
@KAMiJUINs10 ай бұрын
I tested it with a battery pack with a total discharge rate of 180A. And I set a total of 120A for the current. This was really powerful for a street type E-board. And I think 100A per motor would be fine if you went over to an off-road board. And I've tried both of those ESCs, but I felt like this and the Spindend ESC were on a completely different level. This was because the tool program was fully built into the remote. Thanks :)
